I am hesitant to use any plugin/mod in online play, because I don’t want my account to be banned.
These plugins can show very useful information about items, such as main usage, potential value, min/max stat, etc.
Can we get a blue post to clarify what is allowed and what is not?
What are you even talking about? If I have more game knowledge than you and I know the usage, value, min/max stat, etc from memory, am I marginalizing you as a player?
Additionally, are you going to accuse me of using a mod to acquire this knowledge?
You don’t need one. Blizzard has not authorized any third party software and does not currently have an approved mod sandbox system set up.
The warning is the EULA.
I would not touch anything right now and Blizz is not going to give you approval.
That is not stopping people from using mods, speaking as a player who played since original launch and off and on since then, using mods pre-Resurrection, the people using them are very easy to spot and I see minimal, if any action being taken against them.
In the past several pre-made baal runs, someone is using pickit and even bragging about it.
