Ploot and how to abuse it

If Ploot is in game I join, I am leaving group just before boss is dead, finish him and taking everything solo hahahhahaha.

Ha!

Now lets see the spin from the ploots, I need popcorn for this one.

I dont think it works the way you think it works….
You’re not suddenly going to get x8 player loot on the boss kill.
You might actually diminish your loot drop even further by leaving the party.

Party didnt kill boss,I did, they get nothing. My party killed him.

Ok so you’re doing what a lot of people already do in ffa games anyways?

You are saying you’re going to clear a place no one else is and get the loot?

Or are you trying to say your with the party then you get to the same boss with everyone else then you leave party and get the last blow?

No, I am saying I leave the group when we go to boss and I will kill the boss to have guaranteed loot for 8 players but just for me since the people who didnt kill the boss are outside of my party.

Yes I will have last blow to boss.

“…Must…Get…Ploot…Into…D2R!”

Exactly what I thought you were saying…so the 7 other people will get loot the exact same loot drop rate anyways since there’s 8 people in game?

Now let’s say even if that wasn’t the case the 7 other player would get the drop rates of a 7 party group and you would get the drop rate of playing solo.

But they are not in party which killed the boss so why they should get the drop?

bad zax , getting influenced by the troll atmosphere of the forum :stuck_out_tongue:

That being said , in many game , it’s not about group but proximity to the boss.
so even if you leave said group everyone would get a share as long as they 1 or 2 screen away max from the boss.

Except the quality of the loot depends on the total of mf. If you ditch the group, you diminish the quality of your loot because your mf is below the mf of all the group

What happens right now in d2 if you do this? Should explain it for you

only depends on the mf of the killer , atleast if it’s done the D2 way and not the D3 way. (though even in D3 way it’s about mf in the room rather than the party)
In both case : won’t change a thing.
especially since it’s loot allocation , not loot change.

What happends right now, is that if i leave party and kill boss while others are around, they still can get the loot. Under ploot it is all mine since my party killed the boss, not players I left.

If they implement Personal Loot, I highly doubt they’re going to modify the Magic Find values to be accumulative of all players in the area/group. It’ll still likely come down to whoever gets the last blow.

Very good example right here of why they wouldn’t make it group accumulative.

That’s great made up story. Who says he won’t have the highest mf ?

Also I’m going naked with zero mf to screw your run.

Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the amount of people in the game also effect the drop rate?

Players 8 for single mode ext…no?

Clearly the answer is you cant leave parties ever, even when hostile, but that doesnt matter because pvp will soon be removed, because players can die in pvp dont yeah know.

When it it later discovered that players can die even without Pvp, they will then demand that they cant go bellow 5% health, without an auto TP occuring that warps you safely to town.

Death is unfair after all.

tell me you dont know how MF in D2 works without actually saying you dont know how MF in D2 works:

and people like this want to change the game, its laughable. “total MF” yeah buddy, allright. hop back in your smartphone game.

I don’t care for private loot and this is silly. The loot would drop the same as it does for anybody not in a party. Free for all. It’d just be assigned.

You’ll have to make a better example.
