Please revert FHR to patch 2.3

You don’t think its kinda ironic that you invest so much time into somthing you care so little about? I cannot support a player like you.

I enjoy PVP and also gave many ways we can nerf mindblast / remove stunlock from the game without destroying the entire FHR system as a whole. I don’t play PvM at all, just a former counter-strike player.

Smite is now the most difficult class in the game to play and I enjoy it because of that. I wish there was a better answer to fix Smite vs Necro but is what it is. At least WSG required the user to do something.

Nothing left to say except I strongly disagree with how anyone could support a 3rd party website for such a trivial reason.

I hate getting spammed in game!

how are you confusing items and stuff with mechanics we’re championing for? i dont get it

So cringe to read all your posts that clearly demonstrate that you have no idea what you’re talking about when it comes to pvp. Judging from your lack of pvp knowledge you might even be a blizz dev in disguise.

You keep defending the new fhr changes yet talk about maining a bladesin. You fail to realize that it would be 100% easier to get kills with a bladesin if traps/mindblast still actually fhr’d. Traps hold them in place and then go to town with blades. Still an underpowered char but it would have more of a chance than now when anyone can just teleport out of anything, considering the blade fury animation takes painfully long to start.

I never relied upon a broken, unfair mechanic. The change has zero impact on me. You probably incorporated wsg manipulation into your tactics to escape stun lock yet are still complaining that a glitch is gone. Your world is upside down!

Thanks for the continuous bumps to the topic!

Hey Blizz, let’s get FHR and FBR reverted to how it was in 2.3 and prior please. Your “fix” to stunlock was well intentioned but poorly executed and has left PvP in a pretty bad state for 99% of PvPers.

As someone who PvPed in LoD religiously from 1.10 on, this concept sounds horrendous. I barely played this remake (not remaster at this point), and this is a nail in the coffin for me. RIP Hybrid Assassins, my favorite class. The stunlock was quintessential in punishing people who didn’t properly invest in FHR or FBR. If you were locked into oblivion, then you needed to overhaul your gear for more FHR. Too many people are damage-obsessed and it’s unreal.

Also… if you play PvM exclusively, chill. No one’s asking for your precious, overpowered builds to be nerfed in this thread.

Cheesy build got cheesed, oh the irony.

I don’t think you understand what cheese is, dude. Assassins weren’t meta defining; they were good, but had their counters. All classes had a counter. Stun locking was a good mechanic because it allowed to keep other, overpowered builds in check. What was stopping a necromancer, a tornado druid, or a hammerdin 90% of the time? The necro could recast bone armor infinitely, the tornado druid could spam meat shields and cyclone armor, and the hammerdin could charge around with vigor on at incredible speeds and never be caught. Stun locking, whether by assassin or otherwise, was the best way to handle these threats.

A sorceress with 200 fcr is now nearly impossible to nail down, despite the fact they have the worst FHR breakpoints in the game. An assassin, who in LORE hunts rogue sorceresses, can’t even touch them anymore.

To counter your bad mechanic abuse, the team fixed this. Good job devs, keep em comming!

Need new tactics. May I suggest trying a Blade sin? They are very good…

They didn’t fix anything. They completely nullified it. If they actually gave diminishing returns like was suggested above rather than near full immunity, we’d be fine with that. What they did, however, was remove stun locking entirely for PvP, which as I pointed out, only makes more overpowered characters more overpowered.

bladesins are terrible

Have you tried it???

yeah and they all suck in pubs and nobody with a brain uses them in private duels

first thing I did was make a ghost blade. I was hoping that blade shield would double down on the ghost’s damage when stomping casters. While blade skills could be used defensively.

Blade shield: Hitbox in combination with next hit delay is so impossible it never triggers, no reason to spend on this skill.
Blade Fury: Windup is too slow to touch any casters, not useful vs characters with block. Once you are hit you are stunned which causes a second windup delay. You can either sit there and take a beating or run away. If you run and get chased you cannot wind up again before you lose.
Blade Sent: Cast animation / spell is extremely slow. Hit boxes must be pixels thin, it just so rarely ever touches. Next hit delay ensures this never actually has serious damage (multiple hits from multiple sent).

Everything that puts max block stormshield on deletes bladesin. We made it, tried it and had high hopes but the new FHR animation / lack of block animation kills it. You cant stomp anything as they will just teleport away.

Objectively speaking theres no reason to be dumping 60 points into these blade skills when lighting sentry is the same cost. Max claw mastery and get a claw with +1 blade shield and that is all you need. Play as ghost vs casters and trapper vs pally/melee.

hybrid is playable but bladesin is nothing but a pvm meme (amazing dps in pvm). Trapsin is 100% dead (even nuked more with terrorzone charms not working on minions)

You are doing it wrong!

I can bring the donkey to water but I cant make him drink.

Again if you think the bladesin is any good I will pay you 5 BER for every time you win and you pay me 1 BER for every time I win. If you believe you can win more than 20% of the time this is a good bet.

Your loss mah guy. Ask around my sin’s name is Blade, lvl 93. She doesn’t have the best gear but can most definately win many 1 v 1. Just because you lack patience to understand does not invalidate a particular build.
