Stamina is at a really awkward place, and it is much much inferior compared to the other statuses like life, mana, strength, intelligence, agility.
Stamina is totally useless in middle and late games, and unlike dark souls that any movement will cost stamina, in Diablo 2, even you play Paladin or Barbarian, who logically should use the energy to use abilities and attack, are using mana instead.
My suggestions are either remove it or make it more useful
remove the stamina, this is good, and won’t change this game a lot
some mana cost abilities changed to stamina cost abilities, but this changes this game a lot. Like Paladin swing his sword with Zeal to hit multiple enemies, how could zeal cost mana? Add maximum stamina and stamina regen status in gears.
It takes up resources of the computer and the game, imagine there a bunches of useless things in your room, on your table, desk and bed, will you feel good?
No one walks in in nightmare and hell mode, how could this be deadly? If some abilities cost stamina, you can’t attack when your stamina got drained up, that will be an issue, but I prefer just to remove stamina.
A very dangerous pack of extra fast, aura enhanced in hell difficulty. I’ve teleported into it once or twice, and just get forced to walk. Then die pretty fast, it does happen.
So you mean when there are useless things in your room, your decision is not to remove them, but to purchase a larger house? This sounds really logical, also, I am pretty sure that my computer is better than yours
I like it. I know it’s annoying and doesn’t quite work as intended but it does add to the game. First off, walking vs running effects defense and block ability. And so monsters that remove stamina have that extra power after doing so. If there’s more content in the future the devs could surely develop on this to make the game difficult.
