Without more stash tabs or a currency tab it is simply a pain to upgrade runes.
I doubt anyone is enjoying hording all those gems and runes … I am an offline single player on console and it is just painful to manage all that.
It would just make the game more enjoyable.

the only crap rune i even bother to upgrade is tal for obvious reasons but it doesnt need any gem
for insight and spirit i just farm countess
besides that, i dont feel the need to upgrade anything…maybe at the beginning of the ladder bc i need a lem or lum for treachery or smoke
If you’d play single player and you are 100% on your own I suppose you see why you’ll need to upgrade lots of runes
Frankly, I dont think removing the gem required would hurt any. Their aint a recipe guide in game so people have to tab out or remember(shudders) things and frankly, I cant remember all that even after playing this game sense launch back in the day lol.

im not really against it, im just trying to see this from a bnet player perspective and removing it wont change that much for them
bnet player usually dont go around upgrading runes, its a usually a waste of time
well, i think that if you gonna remove it you better to suggest another use for gems
Honestly, I was suggesting to remove the gem requirement entirely. The runes themselves should suffice. My only reasoning for this change is the lack of currency tab and very limited stash. It makes the game unnecessarily complicated. Also who remembers that stuff XD
