lolwut is this some kind of joke?
Not at all, these are valid concerns and i wanted to give out what i think could be solutions.
Just “this change” is big enough to need a Diablo 2.5
Or spend $ 40 for each new expansion.
Diablo Immortal is supposed to cover the story between Diablo 2 Lod and Diablo 3.
I don’t know what kind of story or missions they could add in these “Acts 6 - 10” and keep it consistent.
It could be Diablo 5 then maybe?
Lmao
I’m loving these posts, great forum development
1.Not everyone is on equal playing field, some people are slower at clicking some are faster to name some differences. I propose adding ploot system to remove any competitiveness lootwise. And if you think Ploot is not the way to go, we could implement matchmaking system to categorize people, like in League of legends for example. This would be done as follows, when you launch game, you will be given a reaction time and clicking accuracy “test” and placed in a matchmaking based on the results, that way everyone can game with equal “opponents”.
- Right - that’s called life. Some people are better than others at certain things. They don’t deserve a handicap for that just to ensure you get a trophy too.
Pvp is not how its supposed to be in a modern game, you should be allowed to choose who you play against. It is not fair that someone who outmatches and outgears you just comes and kills you, with 0 counterplay and you having 0.00 seconds time to react to that. This could be fixed so that game would check each players gear, and track record of pvp kills/deaths, and apply a DEBUFF to the person who has higher odds of winning the duel.
- PK <> PVP - game takes place in a hostile world and therefore, if someone hostiles you, you have time to respond. If you chose to stick around to fight them and got wrecked/ego bruised, well, then, what did you learn? Otherwise, when someone hostiles you, their portal disappears, they cant take yours, wps have a 10 second delay and you have ample amount of time to exit.
I think you just got wrecked one too many times because you wrote a check bigger than you could cash once someone hostiled you.
Endgame is lackluster. My suggestion is that we add more acts, act 6 through act 10. And on top of that, 16 different tiers of maps with increasing difficulty. Also some minibosses that are required to be killed to spawn and endgame boss that drops orbs that when applied enchance your skills of choice with new properties, it could be for example “spell echo” so you cast 2 hammers per cast instead of only 1.
- This isn’t PoE.
Leagues. On top of more endgame i think it would be nice if they added leagues to this game. Every league would introduce new gamebreaking crafting or loot that makes everything previously released obsolete, just so things keep being interesting.
- Ladder “seasons” will be a thing. This isn’t PoE.
Mods should be given full support and and UI to make them, accesible for every player, so they could customize each lobby they make with their own settings, only sky would be the limit here. Some might think this would fracture the playerbase to 100000 pieces, but i dont think it would happen.
- Perhaps in the future, sure. But for the beginning, no.
Loot management should be looked at, and infinitely stacking currency tab with auto-allocating affinities should be added, to make it convenient for everyone to pick every single item they get allocated. This way everyone can have as much of everything as they want and people would not need to rely in trade or player interaction at all to accumulate needed crafting materials or whatever. But how are people supposed to loot and store all this stuff then you may ask? Simple. Give charms a separate inventory so you have full inventory space for loot only. Even better, we could remove charms completely and transfer their power into a passive skill tree with hundreds of different nodes for players to choose from. This way we can utilize the charm inventory space to hoard even more loot on us.
- Loot management is very simple. If you can’t pick it up, either mule (shared stash), or get rid of something. No trivilization of the game.
Add some MTX and supporter packs attached to every league, this way game would keep making money over the years and doesnt need to rely on onetime sales. I personally would enjoy the MTXes to enhance my gameplay (maybe sneak a couple of flying mounts in there?).

- For the 3rd time, this isn’t PoE and not free-to-play either. There’s a reason those microtransactions work on that game.
Honestly I think Blizzard moving Ladder only items to nonladder as well was basically hitting the hornet’s nest with a stick.
Ever since then, there have been non stop crazy ideas on every social media, much more than happened before.
It’s like that one change has made people believe Blizzard has given up the idea of a remaster and caved to the idea of a complete remake of the game.
God, do I ever hope they’re wrong.
Cyrus, again, try to feel the tone… young padawan.
You gotta love the passion though
Dude - stop following me… lol. It’s getting strange.
I think Axe here is just trying to say…read it again…but perhaps in a different, perhaps more agreeable tone… ^^
Dont flatter yourself big boy!
Making troll posts to troll isn’t something I engage in.
I respond to the words written, not look for hidden meanings and/or facetiousness.
This is a video game forum and we are adults with lives and responsibilities.
If you have that much excess time – more power to you.
Fair enough, with that I’ll leave you with this - I agree with you. Both on this, and your response to the OP.
Well… then fair enough - be well
Yes, good observation. Much agreed!
Yeah, got to say, this was better than the average troll. Had to read a bit down before it became obvious.
Anyway, if we pretended this was real
There is absolutely no reason that a “modern” game needs to give you full freedom in when PvP happens.
People can dislike the hostility option, but it has nothing to do with modern vs. old.
Nice try.
Though I think you WILL attract the locust swarm with these ideas.
It took me less than 5 minutes to write these suggestions. When you have a vision, it doesnt take much thinking to write down what you feel.
- Going Hostile must be something that the other players have to agree with. If you hostile someone then they must click accept, if they click deny then you cannot hostile them for the rest of the time that game exists unless they click on you to hostile YOU which then resets the other players hostile button. Doing this will allow people to have multiple pvp against each other while also not shutting a pvp game down because someone hit deny by mistake.
Also, if someone unhostiles another player, the pvp is ended automatically, not just from one side.

I know it won’t happen, but let us split the community up. When making a game you can select personal or shared loot. Everyone wins.

Stack Runes of the same kind into each other. Instead of runes needing separate stacks, let them stack into each other. But ONLY for runes. Anything else doesn’t make sense since my head cannon sees the actual size of runes as around the size of a half dollar coin.

Buff the Paladin Defensive Auras…by…Exponential amounts. Especially the health regen aura.
-
Buff Necromancer Skeletons by an exponential amount and redo a lot of the lesser used classes lesser used skills. I had skeletons with level 27 in all the stats that boost what they do and enemies in hell still explode them with ease. They do not last in any way shape or form, even the mages. Make summon necromancer skeletons great again like they were in the beginning when Bonesnap and the gavel was the god tier weapon.
