Please make Insight Runeword able to sword.
I know you guys allowed that to bow,crossbow.
you did a good job but, I need another one.
If you allow that runeword to sword, act3 and
act5 mercenaries can be more hired by players.
And sword mastery barbarian players will also glad it too.
Ps. Act5 Merc need to use more weapons, something like Axes.
agree i love act3 mercenaries but they useless whit out any good runeword like Insight or Infinity…
I think allowing “insight” on swords would be hard to balance. An alternative could be to make it available on 2 Handed Swords, but that would also allow Barbarians to dual wield them.
The idea of a WarCry Barb wielding spirit and insight while the merc uses a Reaper’s Toll to lower enemy phyisical resistance sounds nice though.
Also having a merc barb wielding 2 Insights would make ES sorcs even more tanky…
Instead of allowing Insight in Swords, maybe allowing it in Shields would be a decent compromise? It would still give A3 Mercs access and would give Spirit some competition as the “go to” caster shield.
Looking at it though, it would also make a pretty sick melee boosting shield too! Maybe swap out enhanced damage on shields?
