Please make Insight Runeword able to sword.
I know you guys allowed that to bow,crossbow.
you did a good job but, I need another one.
If you allow that runeword to sword, act3 and
act5 mercenaries can be more hired by players.
And sword mastery barbarian players will also glad it too.
hmmm i dont like the idea. insight is too strong ed wise at lower levels and would just make all alternatives at that level range (bloodletter, black, honor) unviable. though i would like another runeword which is a bit better adjusted ed wise with proper meditation aura

Nice idea! Act 3 hirelings are the worst, they really need to use insight, i would put elemental mastery on their skills too.
No to Insight in a sword. Act 5 Mercs are already great and don’t need a buff.
Insight in a shield…
Hmm… Insight on a shield would prevent dual wielding (compared to suggestions to put it in a sword) and would make an Insight Act 3 Merc possible.
It would be an alternative to Spirit shield, what with the 35% Faster Cast, giving Fire and Poison Resistance instead of Poison Lightning, and Cold on Spirit.
260% Enhanced Damage on a Shield though… for much much cheaper than a Pheonix. That would make it a viable shield for any Physical Damage characters… the Physical Zealot, maybe a Whirlwind Barb? A Blade Fury Assassin?
It would immediately become best in slot shield for a Javazon I’d think. At least it would solve the mana use issue.
Basically, this would be a big buff to the Act 3 Merc, Javazons, Physical Damage dealers who use a lot of mana, and potentially casters who need mana regen more than they need +2 Skills.
Maybe that’s okay… Need to think about it, and at least test in PTR before committing to it being okay.
I think from last PTR, most people were against Insight in a sword because it would be would too limiting of choice for melee for it’s level. If they update some unique weapons, especially swords around that level, this could probably be revisited to allow Insight on any merc.
It would be too OP for swords. Maybe it could be done for 2 Handed Swords, but it could also turn barbarians into massive mana batteries because of dual wielding
I think expanding Insight runeword to Shields would be a better direction.
I agree that insight in a shield is a better option. It would be too strong in a sword.
Insight on shield would still be op, especially considering the pow lv requirement of 4os pally shield.
All it does is replace spirit shield for qll caster, which would be better because they can now just solo everywhere with inwight shield and forget merc survibility
At least with spirit its a gamble between 25-35 fcr, insight shield is gyarantee 35fcr, 35 fire and poison resist
Yeah but having insight on a shield would now open up possibilities for a different build rather than just the spirit mon. Choice that we have now.
Plus this is beneficial for many classes that struggle with hitting the bp for fcr.
why does it have to be specifically insight with 250%+ ed and 250% AR? all you need it for is level 12-17 meditation. you could update any unique weapon to have that. or just make a new runeword with that trait. and when you put it in swords (sothat a5 and a3 become more usefull) you just adjust the ed to be somewhere around 100%-150ed% (thats where black, honor, etc are at)
