Please fix the interaction for Cold Mastery

Cold Sorc with The Cold Rupture becomes unstoppable with no gear
We don’t need another hammerdin, please make sure that this is fixed before release.

If they nerf cold mastery, that’s a nerf to frozen orb too. I guess they could nerf cold mastery values some (only for PvM) and buff orb itself though. Just because you think blizzard is op, doesn’t mean orb is.

Master cold = master fire = master light

Noobs should not post here

Fix what? It works like the patch notes says.

Read the first post before replying?

Thta’s the one I replied to.

Then why did you post in the first place?

Same mentality as nerfing hammerdins, if you dont want to play a cold sorc, dont play one.

Are you all insane?

The new charm drops immunity to 95% resist
For any other elemental build that’s not enough to be viable, you need a lot of -res to make enough damage

Cold Mastery drops that 95% to 0% which means you can kill anything in game with literally no gear but 1 charm.

Yes, no different from a hammerdin. What is your point?

All master should work the same, increase damage for level

That fire and lightning doesn’t work the same, they are just making the same builds better while all other builds are still crap.

That’s my point

Fix cold sorc so it’s not insanely good, like fire isn’t.

Well, do we know if this change is for the season only or will it still exist in season 3?

We do not know and it doesn’t matter.
They made Cold Sorceress stronger than hammerdin. This is a clear overbuff that has to be fixed

There is only one logical fix to this. all 3 masteries should work in same way. To lower enemy cold, fire and lighting res.

/play “sky is falling.avi”.

We’re still in PTR mode, things can change.

If you’re worried about it, play the PTR and submit your feedback.

I did, and I do here as well. Hence why I post a separate post for this specifically

Posting your feedback in the general discussion section has a good chance of not getting Blizzards eyes on it. You need to post your feedback in the PTR feedback section.

Nop… all masters increase damage
