At least PC vs. other consoles. There are no botters on PS5, XBOX nor Switch. I understand argument that you want to play your character and level it up when you are not home but for that i suggest Switch. Imagine this 100% bot free pristine environment. I’m sure that lots of tired because of bots people would pour in into console paradise.
Taking out cross-progression would create big and clean enclave of pure game experience as Blizzard wanted it. Pros are massive, cons are neglectable.

There’s no cross play, progression, etc.
Playing this game on console is an absolutely AGGRAVATING concept. Poorly conceived and executed from day 1.

My Brother in Baal let me enlighten you. If you own game on PC and Playstation you use the same bnet account (just need to buy game 2x). So you can bot on PC and then log in to the same account on Playstation and push your illicit botted items innocent console players.
I have like 600h played on playstation. I refute your opinion just based on that.

I do see where one can get used to it. It’s a preference thing.
I don’t think its really ruining the game or anything… I mean, you don’t have to interract with players you think are cheating / botting. There are a multitude of things I’d rather they fix than removing this, I mean you can always host your own games. But, I do personally hate it as well. - - - - However, I would love if consoles were cross-play. So, if they toss the PC community from joining in on consoles, they should only do it after adding console cross-play. 
this is still valid. it’s 9h into the ladder, on consoles people barely going through normal and botters already trading bers and jahs. please isolate console players from that.

The real question is, why bots are allowed? I play PS5, and this current season i didn’t see a single dclone spawn . However, there are ppl selling thousands and thousands of unid annis in “supposed-to-be-illegal-according-to-the-terms-of-usage” other apps. We don’t even have the possibility to use a bot, even if we wanted on consoles, and still we see d2honor games up everytime, even if we report the games lmao. Blizzard is really not caring at all, as long as you throw money at them buying multiple licenses. They showed their character when they released diablo immortal 100k dollars chars lmao
