Please add windowed fullscreen option

As the topic says, this would be greatly appreciated. It seems that 98% of the time that I alt-tab out or hit the windows key to access my other monitor, the game crashes or shuts down on me within a matter of minutes.

I have the game running in windowed fullscreen from the video settings. Do you not have that option?

Yea, I’d love this also. I don’t like the window on around the game. And unless I’m doing something wrong, I can’t get to my 2nd monitor unless I run in windowed mode.

Only have the fullscreen option and the windowed option. Not a fan of the window frame around the game screen, but would love the ability to switch screens as long as I’m looking at the menu, inventory, stash or vendor.

Oh, my bad. I have a program that runs in the background process of my PC that removes all the borders from windowed games. I think that might be causing my D2R to not have a border. Sorry, it’s been years since I thought about this program.

I’m in the same boat. Would be nice to be able to control netflix while playing D2 without having the white bar across the top.

Depending on how busy your taskbar is, if you don’t want the white bar at the top but don’t mind the taskbar at the bottom, turn off Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode and turn on use small taskbar buttons before you start the game. If you toggle it in-game, you will get the white bar at the top and the taskbar at the bottom.

I agree a windowed fullscreen option should be added I do not like the fact that fullscreen is locked to the desktop resolution. i like to set my desktop resolution to 1080p 170hz but when i game i play 1440p 170hz the reason desktop is set to 1080p is because windows text is so tiny and switching over all the time is a big hassle

I actually have 3 screens. I use my center screen for my main focus (Work or gaming), my right screen for Emails or Netflix (depending on if I’m working or not), and my left screen for chat programs (Discord and Slack). I have my task bar on the right side of my left screen.

bit of a necro, but i felt its better to not my a new thread…

this is annoying me to no ends, having to pressing the windows key to move my cursor outside of the game. its terrible when using multiple monitors.

and “windowed” changes the resolution and gives the windowed bars and task bar

It doesn’t annoy me, it’s a good thing. It would be very frustrating if I could accidentally click outside the window in heated gaming moment and end up dying because my character didn’t move or use a skill due to clicking outside the window.
