Please add the AFK timer again

We’re all getting stuck in games again.

I came to post this exact same thing. There’s people sitting afk in games for 6-7 hours.

Since I’m in my own game, I get distracted with the forums and such, me staying in town isn’t hurting anyone. In some situation I can see it being beneficial but for me I like being able to take a break and pick up at my townportal.

It’s an interesting issue. Since I am sitting in a que at #306, if that really means I am waiting for 306 people to get offline so I can get on-line, we need AFK timers.

At the same time I get stuck waiting 30+ min just to get to the character select screen. I am definitely going AFK if I am jumping off for just a bit. Sure I’ll shut down at night (I’m sure some don’t) but having to wait 30 min to just start the game is encouraging people to stay AFK.

No AFK timers. I like to login to character select screen before leaving for work and then be ready to play when I get home.

LOL. Way to state your case. If I was a dev and read this crap I would be even more likely to throw the switch on AFK timers.

Well, it shows Blizzard isn’t doing only “LOGIN QUEUE”, since if they just limit number of logins same time, queue should keep going doesn’t matter if guys are connected afk or not, right? League of Legends do it sometimes, but they don’t limit the max number of connections, only the connections at same time.

So, Blizzard isn’t be totally transparent with us, they are just limiting the number of players connected and games created, it’s exactly why people afk cause longer queue times, in blue post, in any moment I heard “we will limit number of online players to prevent overloading”, so it’s not totally truth, there they say they will implement queue to prevent to many logins at same time causing overload, isn’t it?

yes please.

but not in single player mode thanks!

well i guess we can pause the game…
