/players X command needed (NL)

Havent played in nearly a year. Game is boring, all my characters never die and kill everything very quickly.

Would like the option to make the monsters tougher for Nonladder softcore.

Thank you.

I am coming around on this after playing Single Player the past year. It really makes early game and farming more tollerable and enjoyable, and if it was online you would be able to have the best of both coop (no players x) or single online with a boost.

Please don’t entertain these asinine requests. /px cheat code has no place on Battlenet.

OMG, learn to play with others, make friends and share drops/gear… it’s not hard.
Make a non OP character, do not respec, do not get rush’d and you will be just fine in the single player challenge you wish for.
Who are these people?

Cheat code lmao, I’m sorry

I think it’s pretty safe to say that /p X will never come to Battle.net. Let 'em beg.

Didnt you just say something to me about this??

So “maybe” 3 years ago… i thought you guys grew past harrassing these threads?

Extremely histrionic the reasoning behind that statement lol

You are using terms you don’t even know the meaning behind.

What exactly is ‘extremely melodramatic or theatrical’ behind the reasoning of calling /px a cheat code?

Really…get well soon!

How many /pX CHEATCODE threads the OP made already?
Just get over it boys. You got SP if you wanna cheat ^^

Calling px a cheat code is like calling driving a toyota corolla to get to work a cheat code

While I don’t think the command has its place online (as it disincentivizes playing with others), calling it a cheat code is quite an exaggeration. It is considered normal gameplay offline, which is why the slider has been added offline.

I understand your reasoning, yet /players x was always catalogued as a cheat.

Gamefaqs doesnt tell the creators of what d2r a game mechanic is…right?

Its just an embelishment based on personal bias, pX is a game mechanic imbeded in the stand alone single player game. Its also a mechanic that is changed by people populating their games with loaders which i believe you admitted to doing yourself at one time? What makes me “unwell” by using the word “histrionic”? Are you insinuating my disability has caused me to use the word improperly?

Do you think this could come off as patronizing or trolling?

People have a hard time rationalizing situations where they might be avoided or ignored if they are too compulsive about degrading people lol

That’s because back in the day that was the only/accepted terminology to be used. Back when most games had actual cheats and cheat codes. I’d call it more of a hidden option than anything else (though of course with D2R it isn’t hidden at all and is literally just an option in the options menu…notice how it isn’t filed under “cheats” in options either)

And D2R is a game from ‘back in the day’. It’s a game from a bygone era…from the dawn of online gaming dressed in modern clothes, after all.

Its not a cheat code. There is no “code” its a game mechanic. You understand the difference right?

I mean by definition cheat codes ARE game mechanics.

And the mechanic online is no /players.

It has to be defined by the game as a cheat code to be a cheat code. Also there is no code its a slider thats built into a game bar. Like turning the volume up and down. Redundant anyway because i believe zaman uses a loader to populate his private games with other accounts

The game defines setting the online mode to an artificial players 8 as a cheat.

Want players 8? Bring 7 others. Or go SP.

The setting doesnt exist in online mode brother
