So you want cheating??? Because that is waht /players8 is, it is a cheat. Actually it is a dev tool, that is essentially same as a cheat.
My god… just play the damn game. What losers care that much about farming for gear they prob wont even use anyway?
You don’t need to make stuff up. It isn’t a dev tool, it’s an intentional function of single player.
A large part of the end game of d2 revolves around doing things either solo or in groups with 8 players. Since single player can’t do this they gave them /players as a way for them to access end game also.
It makes sense to give this to online players now.
- First match making is horrendous basically you can only find a group for baal.
- All it takes is one person to not leave a game to kill a run. If someone does pits in your baal group you’re locked out of farming baal until they leave.
- Switch has a maximum of 4 players. The switch experience is literally missing half of the end game difficulty.
