Player repeated harassment

I know Bnet. has open policy regarding pk’ing in games but it gets a little too much when the same player comes back repeatedly just to ruin a pleasant game. How do I report the account?

Guy was doing that to me
I couldn’t figure out how to block him either

I ended up making a PKer for revenge

Technically joining games and killing people isn’t really actionable harassment, even if they keep joining games and trying to kill you.

If they started verbally going at you at the same time then maybe. At least I’ve never heard of anything happening based on pking.

Usually at that point if you can gear up a good pker to bring in when needed that sometimes calms them down. Otherwise changing games or temporarily making a new private game with the non trolls then that could buy you enough time for him to get bored.

I get it, I don’t really pvp, and if I do it’s to defend my game.

Last resort is contacting a high level player and have them as your bodyguard on your public games.

Using the game mechanics to engage in PvP with other players, wanted or not, is not against the rules. You can’t report them because they did not do anything wrong.

There are existing methods of preventing an unwanted person from entering your game.

  1. Set a level restriction so only similar levels can join
  2. Set a password that you give only to people you want in game

There is simple answer to that. Dont be toxic back, just wait in town, show him you dont want to fight or rejoin with your pvp/pk char and have duel for fun.

You dont, you either fight back or password the game.

Realistically, if you block someone they should not be able to /who you and see the game name you are in. That would be enough for me.

pKing is part of the game.

If you don’t want to get PKd:
Password your game.
Limit the amount of players that can join
Play solo.

If it’s softcore, fight back if you can.

There are no “safe spaces” here like universities have led you to believe.

There’s ways around it that are simple to apply.

Did you get him/her?

You expect them to do something about an intended game mechanic when they can’t even suspend the people that constantly break the rules on the forums by attacking and insulting me and others…

Good luck

I did not :slightly_frowning_face:

Maybe find some others who can do a co-op and lay a trap.

I hear you all and appreciate your comments. At least most understood the dilemma. I think if there was a way to remove them from the game where the “original game maker” could control the less than stellar character by banning the account just from joining that game. Sort of like getting booted out. Single player works as I’ve been doing it for years. But it’s pretty cool listening to the fun banter in the game. Thanks to everyone.

PKing is part of the game, if you did something like this, you effectively remove PKing, plenty of people have already told you how you can deal with this.

Get better or run away until you get better to beat him. That’'s a stimulus for getting better suited incase someone in the world mugs you. It’s a king of the mountain, you are either on top or you’re not. Accept it
