Seems okay, but would only be useful to most until someone can make an infinity. (For elemental characters) Cham is still hard to come by though.
Might be okay on a rabies druid or elemental zealer?

I just said that to my brother also. On hit would make much more sense imo. It was when struck on PD2 also though so must have been how it appeared in the game files.

Yes, this. It would be preferable that lower resist were on striking, not on being hit. Then it would be a good stop-gap until you can build an Infinity.

Plus i can think of a few other builds i could try this one runeword on if it was on hit.
Just to point out, Infinity doesn’t help Poison damage. Thus LR needed on this. I think if they made it on strike they would have had to make it 2-5% as a zealot would be proccing LR constantly.
This would have been such a good RW for Assassin claws…as it is now not a single new Runeword helps a Trapsin.
Yeah, I could see it being a niche item to a few builds like Rabies Druid or maybe a plague javelin build? (Put on a Merc)
When mentioning infinity, I was thinking in terms of using Plague as a stepping stone for elemental chars until infinity.
I’d throw it more on a Zealot or Fury druid. That would proc Pnova constantly and give some elemental damage to the physical build.
What does infinity have to do with poison?
See my comment above. Was talking in terms of using it to lower elemental resistances on monsters until you can afford an infinity. Could be decent for niche poison characters though.

Hmm. I just don’t see the poison nova doing that much damage to really make it useful. I’d think it’d be better on something like a lightning zealot.
