charms are not there to circumvent potion use, it was there just as additional system added to the game for you shape your character

False. Charms were designed to have an opportunity cost just like all other items in the game.

and I am sure not one person here is willing to empty his charm space just for ease of life and will still play that way, I know I wont empty my inventory of charms that I worked so hard to get

False. Charms have diminishing returns. And since you use an absolute I can disprove this statement by being the 1 person who doesn’t use full charm stash for PvM when I absolutely could.

on Diablo 2 we see a different issue that was introduced with charms added into the game, you go back to often, cutting your experience short, making it into work instead of fun and not letting you offset properly

Here’s an idea… Don’t use a full inventory of charms. It’s not a bad design, you just don’t like the design.

You’re the one acting dumb. You want to get rid of the opportunity cost to make charms free to use. Free has nothing to do with if you had to buy the charm or find the charm or whatever. It has to do with the fact you aren’t giving up anything to use it. You currently give up inventory space. You just want it to be free to use.
