When my lvl 90 act 3 merc uses his active “redemptem” aura. My pala wont get mana/life. I tried multiple games and no matter what I get the life/mana.
Just tried in normal d2. and in there it works like a charm. actually same lvl as in dr2
Google it took me 5 seconds: (Post in Forum over 1 min)
- Redemption does not restore Mana or Life to other party members, Minions, monsters that have been coverted or Hirelings.*
I admit, I’m not very familiar with the Paladin.
But, Redemption is an Aura. And @Anxiety said their Paladin didn’t get the Life/Mana restoration.
So, even though “party members, Minions, monsters that have been coverted or Hirelings” don’t benefit from the Redemption Aura, the Paladin should.
His merc has the shield with the redemption…. And the buff only works for the player who wear the item…Redemption is not a group Aura.
The Meditation from the runeword Insight is a group Aura and works when the merc wears the item.
The aura might not be doing anything for the merc either, since the skill specifically excludes hirelings. The other mods probably apply, but not the aura.
That’s wrong. It exclude Hirelings when he would wear the item. But the merc has the Phoenix. So He gets life back in this case. But only the merc not the player.
And OP want the Aura too, but than he have to wear the phoenix on his own!
