I fully acknowledge it is not a normal curve. Let me rephrase. I thought their was a high likelihood that ladder would start sometime between 1 and 7.5 months. I thought the most likely time frame within this range was ~ 4.5 months.

Exactly, I knew back in August that there was large uncertainty when ladder would happen with a significant time range. Why would I make a specific prediction within this cloud of uncertainty in August? It was clear what best case and worse case scenarios would be back then.
You never stated anything. It’s okay to say something and be wrong. I thought ladder would be out within a couple months. I probably said so. I was wrong. See? No big deal.
You’re making unsubstantiated claims about what you thought with literally no reason for anyone to believe you. And for what? To retroactively defend Blizzard for not giving a more specific window than “after release”. Blizzard doesn’t need you shilling for them.

Best case was no trouble at launch and ladder almost immediately thereafter. Worst case was huge, persistent troubles that took a long time to fix. It was clear that it would be at or between these two extremes. The uncertainty was where preciseky reality would fall in this range.
What I mean is a sorc shouldn’t be able to do 20,000 fire damage by swinging a wand because she enchanted herself. She couldn’t in 2.3, but she can in 2.4.
you said the range was clear. the range STILL isnt clear and its march. “worst case” to some was 3 months and apparently to nostradomus over here was 9 months
