Can’t believe chat is still not in the game. In the game where trading is essential.
How can we trade when we can’t make a deals?
Devs must be busy deciding what gender they want to be…
If they had a little brain they would have not removed chat at all.
I can’t imagine how empty your head must be as developer who tought: lets remove chat for consoles its better for the game.

NO chat needed. It would just be constant spam bots.
Rather, give us P8 online, it is an absolute necessity.
You say you don’t play with anybody, then say if Chat was added there would just be bots… You know your private games are… private, right?
Chat is necessary, custom names are nice & personalized items / kill trophies are cool.

On Switch ladder there is nobody to play with. P8 is a necessity. Open chat is absolutely not required, the existing chat system (predefined) is fine.

You can just play offline, set to P8 if you literally play with nobody. Why do ladder?
Also, I’m not sure which chat system you’re refering, as there isn’t one on Xbox.
There are plenty of players on Xbox and Playstation, adding Chat would help us (the apparent larger audience as you say there is nobody on Switch).
Also, chat being implemented would only draw in more players so that might fix your other issue here.
If Blizzard would just add chat, fix load times & add console cross-play there wouldn’t really be any more complaints… except by those that want god-tier loot in a weekend of playing that is.

Consoles would be incredible with text-chat. It’s so amazing to see Blizzard added custom lobbies back into Resurrected with an update for consoles… game names, description, etc. That was already in the original, and they brought it back. I guess in the beginning it was purposely or accidentally removed to “streamline” things? People loved the OG game so you should want to keep it exactly the way it became a hit. When lobbies were added back in for console, I saw how thankful people were. It made a huge difference. They need to do the same with text-chat. It would be a much appreciated addition to return the text-chat option back into the game for consoles via an update… Please Blizz, put the text-chat back into the game for all of the consoles. Please!!!

So I just bought the game today on ps5 and just found out you can’t chat. What a disappointment. Please fix this immediately as it’s essential for the d2 multiplayer experience.
