Recently had an update for D2R. I was playing successfully this afternoon on the same PC. Now when I click “Play”, I get “Launching” followed by “Playing Now” for about 5 seconds, then it reverts to the play button. The game will not launch. So far I’ve tried:
- Uninstalling and Reinstalling the game
- Restarting the computer
- Run as administrator, turn off full screen optimizations
None of this has worked. I also am getting an error in my event viewer for D2R each time at launch. It’s not very informative, but here is an example:
