PC Requirements?

So I’m buying a new laptop and one thing I wanted to make sure was that it was good enough to play Resurrected. Can anyone confirm this will be good enough?

Nope.

It cannot be blue at all. Instant failure.

Blizzard Support - Diablo II: Resurrected System Requirements - try looking at the official statement.

Those specs are more than enough to run at max graphics settings, you should have no problem.

Should run no problem, I’d recommend 6-8gb of vram though if you’re looking for 144hz/fps.

You saw 3050 and wanted to flex, well played. Sadly though you don’t have enough ram, you need 128GB minimum and 512GB Ram for Recommended.

Flex? I’m buying a computer and don’t know much about ram or memory, which is why I asked. I don’t see anything about 128 or 512 GB in the min or recommended list?

That guy was joking, 128GB/512GB is what i use in enterprise servers at work. 16GB is more than enough. the laptop you posted above will be just fine, even a bit overkill in some regards.

and it works wonder for diablo 2 R despite being a laptop. (i bought it specifically for diablo 2 R actually)
So yours should too (we have pretty much the same type of config after all)

Ok thanks for clarifying everyone! Appreciate it.

Appears to be fine, if the gpu doesn’t share RAM for his VRAM. Keep in mind that if you go much above 1080p you could need to reduce the render scale. Most of 4gb VRAM cards, at least on beta had 100% usage because of it, the game at max at 1080p-4k should use roughly 4-6gb VRAM.

The mileage may vary, just saying in case they don’t optimize enough until launch.

An r9 380 sapphire nitro 4gb, could run 57-60 fps at 1080p at 80% render scale, with roughly 52-54 fps at max and 57-60 at lowest. At 70-75% render scale worked fine.

Your mileage may vary but keep in mind that was beta and we don’t know for sure how much optimizations they can do until the launch.

A gtx 1080 with 8gb vram had max of 6,2-6,3 vram usage at 1080p-4k max settings, at 4k had fps of 42-47. Never reaching 100% usage, mostly between 12-29%. But had temps of 79-81°C.

Edit: just to be safe maintain vsync on could avoid any kind of thermal throttle
