I see quite a lot of negative feedback when it comes to 2.6 update. I believe Blizz did a great job to listen to the feedback for those runewords that they tried out with 2.6 PTR.
I was really happy that they also imported Terror zones to offline play. I have 1 character for each class (Played on PS5 without any cheats) and literally can’t wait to hunt level 99
Now we really need the following things:
*More stash (I’d possibly also pay for that tbh)
*Currency Tab (I’d pay for it, just like PoE)
*Simple loot filter (optional to enable/disable)
*Give druids some love (Teleport while in animal form)
*Give melee characters some love (e.g. 30% extra AR per 1 point to DEX, 30% extra dmg per 1 point to STR)
D2 has no limits of how good it could be because its core game play is simply superb and has not really been replicated since.
You’re an offline player. You can literally edit in the original hustle runeword that they destroyed. Much of anyone’s problems with the game can be modded out on SP
I am an offline player but I refuse to use character editors or mods or anything of the sort. The whole point of Diablo is to kill stuff, level up, get awesome gear to let you kill stuff harder and level up faster. Using editors and mods defeat the whole point of the game, like those people in Diablo 3 that will hop on at the start of a new season and be like “Looking for a power level, oh and while we’re at it can we run greater rifts so I can leech gear off you?”. Like why play at that point if you’re not actually going to play.
But editors might not be an option to begin with since you notice Blizzard stated “Offline” they didn’t say “Singleplayer”. So it could be just you playing by yourself on bnet since bnet has an “offline” mode you play as long as you don’t join the lobby. I highly doubt blizzard is going to show love to us Singleplayer fans.
Meele characters dont need any bufs, cuz they are already good. You just need to gear them better (most expensive or just hard to find items), then You will see how does meele character work on pvm and pvp.
Teleport for shaped dudu would be much op because he’s already fast as it is.
Remember that pvm is not all in game, almost every changes influence on pvp. Just think about balance.
Why does everyone think because we are offline players we can do whatever we want? Offline doesn’t necessary mean cheating/editing/modding and so on. You can perfectly fine play the game as it was intended to be played and stay on the safe and legit side. That’s why we begged for the additions to come in offline. Nobody wants to mess with their files, break their version with the risk of corrupting anything with future patches.
More storage space, ok. Paying for necessities… um no, where should that end please?
Simplifications, no… the game should not totally slip.
Love for druids in general, yes necessary.
Adaptation of the Melee, yes here and there useful, also for some skills, one see Assa for example.
2.6 is a good thing for offline mode. So he was not marginalized, but feels better again, now that there just as everything is possible. Why should this not be the case?
