Patch 2.4 comes out Today, January 25th, at ???PTS. That is not a time, when does it go live?!?!? Advertise and advertise and hype 2.4 for months, when does it go live??? Is it even worth logging in to try and play patch 2.4 today? Should we bother with release dates at all? Does anyone know what is happening?

It is only on test server, it is not âlive.â

The PTR is controlled by QA who has it go live when they are ready to test. They donât have a specific time for this sort of thing.
You can anticipate the PTR will start sometime during the afternoon Pacific Time. If something goes wrong, then it will get delayed.
Also remember, there is one PTR realm and it is usually in the US so your connection may be laggy if you are from a long distance away.

sooo, what you mean to say . . . is typical blizard fashion . . . ptr scheduledd for januarty 25th, 2022 will be playable by the majority of people on january 26th, 2022 or later.
they really should set a specific time, so people arenât waiting around. . . at this point, itâs like their entire plan is to see how many people will wait without any confirmation. while staying in a good mood.
board room: âhmm, how long do you think we can delay ptr? think we can string em along in game waiting in game or chatting. Last time we managed 8 hours, think we can pull off 10 hours this time round?â. . âNot sure, lets set an ambiguous time, and play it by ear. If we donât have any set hour, they canât be angry when isnât up by that hourâ.

They are not delaying it though. Blizzard is located in Irvine, California. The PTR test starts during their work day - usually afternoon. They donât have a time because they honestly donât know when things will be stable enough to flip the on switch for the public. That is how they have handed the Diablo PTRs since D3 release 
I realize a lot of D2R players may not know that though, so providing that info is hopefully helpful. If anyone is waiting around right now, donât. Check back in about 3 or 4 hours.

If youâre ââwaiting aroundââ for this PTR to be released, you need something to do in your life. Are you not working? Do you have things to do around the house? Kids? Anything productive at all? Odd.
