Who the hell ordered Throw Barbs to be improved/Synergies to be improved? How about we worry about end game skills that matter like WW or other means? The barb has always had an issue with being pigeoned holed into one build, usually involving a shield and a sword. Dual wield/WW hasn’t been the healthiest especially end game since you literally miss out on possibly one item that will help you early(Such as resistances and the like from a shield).
I’ve never felt that a shield was a must-have in a barb build, unless it was a BvB build. Maybe HC but I don’t play that. It’s sort of a big self-nerf to not use 2 weapons.
Still, I’d like more damage output, more weapons doing even more damage output, or current skills doing a bit more too. But I think Blizzard is going to be in test-phase for awhile and they don’t want to screw up what people are already using. At least that’s kind of what I got out of the video about the changes. They are looking at under utilized skills first, and double throw is pretty weak compared to the other endgame skills.

While I’ve never been as into Throw-Barbs, I don’t recall if that was a playstyle thing or just a viability thing being a turn off to me. I think it’s cool they’re getting some love for people who do like the playstyle.
That said I also am really hoping we get some balance passes to have Barbs/melee better in line with casters assuming similar gear/level.
