Patch 2.3 Not Updating

When I fired up battle.net launcher D2R did not update to 2.3, game version is still 1.1.67314 in both the launcher and when I get into the game.

Is there a way to force the update? I have tried the scan and repair, along with check for update, neither of which did anything. Was the patch pulled by Blizz?

Edit: Looks like they bugged out the game version. Still showing v1.1 but with build 67314. Maybe mine will self correct next time I play, not counting on it tho.

I have the same problem, in fact, in the tab Online i see the message “Failed to authenticate, Please try later”

Same with me on ps4- I saw the patch update and ‘check for updates’ shows I have the latest version from ps4 menu but D2R is showing 1.1.6xx

I restarted the battle.net client like 10 times, and it start patching itself.

I suspect that the patches and the full game client version numbers are not the same thing. The client version number did change from what it was before, it just didn’t renumber the game version itself to 2.3. Probably some internal tracking/recordkeeping thing, I’d imagine.

Still playerX is not available for offline ps4. I can see other changes such as firewall balancing but cannot access player x setting.

i saw that the new patch 2.3 should be available since a few days. I did not play D2R due to the missing players 8 on the console for single player. How can i get this new update now? (xbox)

Same here!
Unable to updating itself!
Not even after uncountable times of “Scan and Repair”!
Now, I’m considering to uninstall and re-install to see if it works, but it will take a long, long, long time!

I uninstalled D2R and re-installed it, but it still shows 1.1.67314.
So, is the version of 1.1.67314 the patch 2.3?
Totally confused!

I have the same problem: it’si mpossible to get the version 2. I am on the Europe server and I only play with local heroes.

yes, that version is patch 2.3. they just pushed an update today, so the latest version is actually 1.1.67358.

Why in the world would they have a game version w/ 1.1 as the pre-text, and call it 2.3? That makes no sense at all, lol. Thank you, DeadlyBussy for at least letting folks know!! Much appreciated.

Game version and patch number are simply not the same, likely for internal tracking purposes, but I couldn’t say for sure.
