Its okay, pillowpants is a diehard Blizz fanboy, who if told to eat sh!t from Blizzard, would ask for a second plate. Blizzard has now gone so far as to rollback weeks of progression, which is unacceptable for any game. Look at Activision stock today, its plummeting. Riding the coattails of its predecessors has finally come to an end. This company is done for

I feel you. This was the first weekend where I had one day truly off without any obligations (work or otherwise) in 2 months and I was hoping to spend it on a nostalgic trip by mostly playing Diablo. So much for that hope.
Sure I managed to entertain myself nonetheless, but I don’t like that I had to alter my choice because of server issues of which Blizzard neglects to give us any information at all other than ‘it’s down’ or ‘it’s up’.
What also annoys me is how these server crashes seem to continue to have the most massive impact on EU and Asian timezones and everything is peachy when the US people get off from work. Blizzard has a notorious reputation for giving preference to US players and this is not exactly fixing that reputation.
When an online service from a billion dollar company goes down, I expect a 24/7 support team and clear communication. Right now it feels like we’re being serviced by the B team which consists of 1 person.

I agree, its unacceptable to have a game crash 3 times with 24 hours and not even realize their servers crashed until hours later the last time. This isn’t like its an isolated incident either, they have been crashing consistently, costing players progress. It consistently bugs out when trying to make games and randomly crashes to where I haven’t played more then 3 hours straight without it happening.
We’ve all earned the right to go full Karen seeing what they’ve done to our beloved childhood game.
That sux, regardless of where you’re from of course. They stopped working here just before 10:30 AM and it’s now 6:45 PM.
To be fair within 6 months its dropped from ~$103 a share to the ~$77 its at currently. Not a great trend for the year.
I trade stocks. So I looked it up on my trade platform. Monday June 14 2021 it was $99.18. Today it is $76.78. That is almost a 25% drop in just 6 months.
The down fall of Activision is not new and just starting. It started before this. On the close of Friday Feb. 12 2021 the price was $103.81. So over the last year their stock has dropped a full 25%. That is awful and considered extremely bad in the stock market community.
News flash, those old school D players grew up to be doctors, lawyers, stock traders, and other successful business people. YOU obviously have not done that “growing up” part yet and are a noob to this game and it’s issues.
I am sure based on the charts that Blizz probably thought the release of this game might help stop the decline and give their stocks a bump. Instead it’s still going down.

News flash, the majority of the people in here are “old school D players.” I was simply defending Pillowpants and calling out the xSOJxSifu troll. We are all pissed off. No sense in turning on each other. (EAD)
That drop probably has more to do with their broader PR issues though. Stock traders generally don’t take that much notice over these kinds of issues until AFTER it starts affecting quarterly earnings reports. Not saying Activision is doing well or anything, but D2R’s server issues don’t really factor in yet.
