Only bots left in ladder

All I see is bots in public, private games and chat. Nothing else, not even a single ban.

how do you see private games? I’m fed up with spam bots…they been an issue for too damn long.

You can’t see them, but you can see the stress in the server

While wanting bots banned is certainly a good thing, spamming the forums is not.

My understanding is they just did a bot ban wave in the past day or two.

Gotta give them credit for this, at least they are trying to ban them this time.

Have they actually banned any?

I have yet to see a bot. Where are all these bots you speak of? Nothing at all like original d2. I just think you have a crappy internet connection or run with a garbage old router. I’ll bet you are simply a moron who doesn’t maintain a network properly.

I like betting. I’ll bet you don’t have any friends and nobody likes you very much.

You forgot to switch accounts.:joy::joy::joy:

Figured you were the same person.

Funny how they ban people for their opinions, yet allow multi’s to run rampant.

There were lots of bots a few days ago. I haven’t checked since. Still plenty of spam-bots in chat running rampant [if you can call it chat] and now they are whispering you after you join a game.

Sad to see the same character/account spamming the same sites day and night. I suppose nobody at Blizzard logs into their own game.

Yeah, they “don’t have time”. If they’d at least log into chat once a week for an hour, they can see the issues. But, that would mean admitting it is an issue then having to do something about it.

LOL, speaking of which, I have never seen a spam-bot advertising jsp, only pay-for-gear sites.

Makes a great argument for PLOOF. No doubt.

more like poof, as in market goes bye bye. D2jsp is reclusive and not very intuitive anyway.

I’ve been as critical as d2jsp as anyone, but their “success” points to a larger problem: facilitating trade in D2/D2R is broke, broke, broke. If we had a better method of trading, d2jsp would evaporate into the wind…

blizzard love it, they wont stop them

They ddid, but not enough to keep them at bay. needs to be an auto feature as soon as a bot logs in.

While I do not deny Blizzard taking a stance and doing a ban wave, I have not seen this information anywhere (yet) and I do not know where you got that from. It could be that I am bad at tracking Blizzard’s updates, but I think that also goes to show the issue that the OP pointed out. As far as I am aware there are A LOT of bots and they have crashed the economy (both of these are facts). There might have been a ban wave, I would like to know where to keep track of that. And I think mostly, I and other people on this forum would appreciate ANY stance of Blizzard on the matter.

It gets to the point where playing the game is no longer fun besides the first 3-4 days of ladder. If they want a player base that perhaps comes back at the game for one week per year, so be it. If they want to have an alive game, they better do something to reassure us that they are trying to keep it alive.
