Hi,
Just played online with a new Amazon, reached level 6 (right after the game launched).
All of a sudden the game stops and I reach the main char selection window, my Amazon is now level 3…
I’m afraid to keep on playing because this happened…
I’ll spend hours playing and this might happen again 
ATM I can’t play online at all, are the servers down or something?
I know the game just got released, but I feel really bad about loosing everything I gained as I explained earlier…
What do you recommend?
There was an in game warning about the gameservers being brought down. No ETA … I would assume it’s for an emergency patch but that’s pure speculation on my part.
I was planning on gaming a few hours, I think I’ll wait 'till tomorrow…
I hope this will be fixed soon.

The Diablo II: Resurrected servers have been temporarily shut down (at approximately 10:00AM PST) in attempts to address game creation and character issues. This maintenance is expected to last around 30 minutes, but keep an eye on the breaking news notification in the Battle.net Desktop App for updates to that effect.
Ha! they posted an update expected downtime is 30 minutes - since they brought them down at 1:00pm est I would assume 1:30 est servers will be back up.
