When playing an online game, if another player completes a quest that i haven’t started yet, i am unable to do that quest. I cant even play the dialogue, it just says “You completed this quest in the previous game”. For example, The Tainted Sun quest is marked as complete in my quest log. However i never interacted with the Tainted Sun Altar in Claw Wiper Temple. The game does not let me open the altar, it says “impossible” when i try. I cannot complete the Horadric Staff. What can i do?
Either you make a new game, or join a game where the quest is not finished….or if in a group you continue into Act 3, the cube will pop up in Travincal.
But rule of thumb is you need to make new game when quests are already finished within the current game
