Idk anything about ladders,pvp etc so keep that in mind.Would it be possible or break the game to share loot between my offline and online characters?I gained some cool gear for early game characters thanks to MF buff weekend but i mostly enjoy playing offline for less stuttery experience , would and could this be a good idea?
You can import characters from legacy D2 into D2R. Legacy D2 single player has hero editor. Need I say more?
Could you not just import items with hero editors offline, what happens if you share those items with online characters.
Offline will never have shared loot with online. The presence of hero editing alone makes that a non-starter. The only real bummer is offline characters cannot be used with cross-progress as that relies on the Battle.net characters, which are online only. It’s the price we pay for people doing things they shouldn’t be doing and ruining perfectly good features for the rest of us. The aforementioned things we shouldn’t be doing (or have done in the case of the tech alpha) are responsible for TCP/IP being removed as well.
Sadly one rotten apple spoiled that entire barrel. And after seeing how console D3 got so screwed with save game cheating/editing, I’m quite pleased offline cannot interact with online in any way.

No need. I will google it, not sure if this would help me tho i want to take my d2r charcters loot and give it to my offline characters,but yeah cheers tho
