Okay jokes over (Mosaic) devs. enough is enough

Yah imagine a zeal pally with a mid runeword sword that gave him level 45 Fanaticism, level 45 concentration, level 45 might, level 45 holy freeze, level 45 holy fire, level 45 holy lightning, level 45 meditation, level 45 prayer

all at once

and then made them all AOE 15 yards radius on hit

and then you basically have mosaic runeword on pally.

the jokes over, we had a good laugh.

its incredibly op

its by far the most hideous thing ever created in a video game visually. its like if you took the 5 most beautiful people in the world (being each single MA spell) and through them into a giant blender and then put the goo into a space ship and fired it at the sun and then said “hey look at that goo on the SUN. Stare at the sun and thats your new d2 game. how are your eyes feeling?”

yah this is like one of those d2 mod servers we all laughed at.

either fix the MA spell spam on finishers and allow only one spell type charge at a time with a limit per basic attack, or im going to quit official servers and play something else. i’ll get my d2 fix through the old plugy if you force me to quit.

Mosaic would have been cool if it just acted as a trigger as a finisher itself on the charging skills. like when youre charging phoenix strike, if wearing mosaic, it would cast a free finisher as it adds a charge. And finishers could expend the charges same as before mosaic.

enough is enough fix it, not a single honest person isnt surprised you havent patched it yet.

i just dont want to play a game where 70% of the players play this hideous monstrosity and who could blame them, you gave them a game shark code literally, except, and i’ll say it again, IT LOOK TERRIBLE AND MEME WORTHY STUPID.

At the beginning of the ladder, you were convinced and said many times, it is not at all op.

my solution is not to play with mosaic sins… but then , i usually play alone…

It is only OP in it’s over the top visuals… And those do need to be toned down

I think this runeword is bugged
Why is it refreshing charges? It clearly says doesn’t consume charge.

What we are getting is refreshing and not consuming.

If that gets fixed the spec will be more balanced.

I want that sword!!!

That’s the part that was added when it went live

“+50% chance for finishing moves to not consume charges. When a finisher is executed this way, it now refreshes the expiration timer of the stack”

Yes remove that and the Sin now has to use a charge up occasionally…it doesn’t make it more balance it just make the Sin manage the charge up a tiny bit.

That would never happen in this ladder season, maybe next one though, with these dev’s you never know :frowning:

if it’s being spammed, IT’S A HUGE CONCERN FOR THE PLAYERS.

thanks for pointing that out ty ty.

So let me get this straight, since I do not play assassin, there is a runeword that makes an assassin super strong…requires a gul and a mal rune, which may people not find so easily, since even in the rune quest rarely a Gul is dropped, if they do not play all day long unlike the initial poster here, who has “concerns” because it cannot be accepted to have more big dogs in the house, since this is supposed to be for a small group of people only, who collect jah etc runes.
And so, so what? Or like Metallica would call it…: “So f***** what”?

I am happy for the players, and who is not, get a tissue but let people play an assassin if they want to. I still won’t though.

i mean i know the op is that troll but, the irony of calling this op is… really … pathetic.

first off… your a squishy assassin… not a tanky paladin with max block and crazy high defense. you dont even have the option for max block as your forced into duel wield. and claw block has a low rate

you need to keep it going… if you run out of enemies to hit… you lose all your charges.

it takes up both weapon slots.

is it a strong build? yes… its certainly hell viabale.

but for all its flashy effects… unless u have infinity dont expect much.

the devs havent fixed the bug that makes auras stack from items… alowing you to run around… doing absolutely nothing 1-3 shotting enemies.

its also not ideal to play as in a party on in certain areas with larges gaps between monsters. like between diablo seal havign tyo try to convert a enemy, or baal wave 3 with the hydras making the charges expire

the build is certainly good. but unless u have infinity and some facets and something like griffons… its not “op”. and like i said it also takes step up.

its no stronger than a jav zon with infinity and griffons and some facets.

Build is way better than you think, but not nearly as crazy OP as others thing.

Maintaining charges in normal runs is easy. Build can destroy P8 just like other S teir, but it can also slap down ubers. Needs end game gear to be super great, but before that it is still VERY effective.

Well he is not wrong guys. The MA assassin wielding dual mosaics is overpowered.

You don’t need permission from us, so fire away, straighten things out when you’re ready.

I laughed hard at that xD

You should learn a thing or 2 about sins.

while its true i dont play assassin often, i do know how they work, and yeah once u reach endgame stats and gear thier ganna be fine, they are crazy in duels with CC locking and wake of fire.

early hell with your new mosiac you used in nightmare and not having a full inventory of dueling charms, or staying back trapping… they are absolutely squishy.

of course my main point of reference is my 5k+ hp fury druid. as that basically my go to build i play most often now soo that probably slightly skews my view of what i consider “squishy”.

max fade would probably help tremendously for this though >.>

I was waiting for this post after your last masterful mosaic post.

Why are you taking quotes out of context? Using parts of a sentence gives the part a complete different meaning…just saying.

Lol right people have no idea how tanky the sin is and always has been. I guess this knowledge just comes from playing over 20 years… Or they just read fades tooltip description in the skill tree lol.
