Last night I played through most of act 3 normal single player OFFLINE. I assembled the flail and smashed the compelling orb unlocking the Durance of Hate door. I entered the DoH1, killed some mobs, decided it was time to take a break, and then saved and exited the game through menu options. After that I powered off the switch. When I came back to the game I took trav wp, killed council and was confused by another flail dropping. Progress for smashing the orb had been lost but I figured I could just remake the flail since I had all WP’s still, however the brain, heart, and eye were no longer in my cube.
edit 1- I suppose it is also worth noting that most of the interactable hidden stashes and shrines in act 3 appear all black and are missing their textures.
edit 2- after completing Khalim’s Will a second time and smashing the compelling orb again, the map area I explored the previous night in Durance 1 was still revealed.
