Ok so I accidentally discovered offline duping without external hard drive. I won’t explain how I did it as it could ruin the game for people and possibly even be exploited online somehow. But I did it. My game isn’t ruined cause I know how to stop myself, however, I can say it did not supe my runeword item, just runes and a couple rings and some javs.
If it involves closing the program, or shutting the power off, you can rest assured that it won’t work online. The games stores your saves server side, so they don’t immediately disconnect when you log off. This is why there are people that have had the game crash, or have gotten connection interrupted, and their character is dead when they get back. Online duping methods are usually pretty advanced.
I don’t think Blizzard cares about offline cheating. But I still wouldn’t suggest posting it here.
Im sure its to be expected. The reason online servers are set up so uptight is to keep the ‘offline hacks’, so to speak- out of multiplayer.
who needs duping when you can bot…

load a 2nd char
take the items out of the chest and Into your char.
save exit then close your game and restart it.
Duping?
They have the solution to players controlling the online economy.
Take it from them.
- Control the supply, control the market.
- Selling to your competitor’s customers FIRST is more cost effective than competition. (3rd party sellers Vs. Pay 2 Win)
You play Activision/Blizzards games.
Activision/Blizzard’s game is to play you.
They invest hundreds of thousands of man hours creating the trap.
We spend BILLIONS of hours inside them.
"According to some mind-boggling new statistics revealed by Blizzard on the Diablo Twitter feed, the total combined play time across Diablo 2: Resurrected and Diablo 3 is a staggering 7,395,027,817.5 hours. For those Diablo fans not keen on long division, that’s a total of 844,181 years spent playing just those two games. "

The choice was clear between your money and the value of entertainment and now they attack the clarity.
Diablo Immortal’s Mind Control
It now takes the same sleezy tactics just to make people pay attention!
Why is D2R a second thought? Because you can’t DUPE players into spending more.
We just want a quality game to play at a fair price.
Instead they use these manipulation tactics.
Emotion Control Tactics
The talents once used to make the world a better place are now used to make it worse.
How the staff can be there and complicit is astounding.
That’s a great Vonnegut book.
Blizzard has siphoned in over $23B over the years, and the hose is still very much flowing. You’ll find that that kind of revenue can buy a lot of complicity.
Never read his work.
“Each person has something he can do easily and can’t imagine why everybody else has so much trouble doing it.” -Vonnegut
We must think alike because I know better than to manipulate and steal from children. How any Blizzard employee can sit there and say nothing makes me wonder why they struggle with ethics.
Not one person stood up and did the right thing. Cowards.
