Offline characters

So my question is, can I play the same offline character on two different computers without having to manually move the save files from one computer to the other?

I just logged on to my laptop and the one offline character I created earlier on my other computer isnt shown on the laptop.

Sadly no for some reason the cross progress only works with online characters when it would take NOTHING to do it for offline also 100% ruins doing grail on the go.

Offline characters are saved on your computer, so yes, you’d have to manually move the files.

You have to manually move the save files, but you can have it automated by linking both computer’s save folder to cloud storage like OneDrive.

Yeah this is what I was thinking, I use two different computers on a regular basis and wanted to get started on the Holy Grail collection offline. I guess I could just do it online and only mark the items that I find, I kinda wanted to start doing it offline till the ladder kicks in.

Do you even know what offline means? How is blizzard supposed to save the offline files when you aren’t even connected to the internet?

Move the saved game folder to Onedrive on both computers that you plan on playing D2R. The files will synchronize, as long as you’re online.

If you play truly offline on one computer, just be careful and make sure you sync the files before playing on the other pc.

I do understand what offline means, but I was more wondering if they would be saved to cloud like pretty much any other game these days (steam etc) so you could play the same saves using multiple devices. Some remakes even have optional cloud usage, like FFIX where you manually load your save to the cloud first.

Well I know what it means, although blizzard doesn’t, since they require internet anyway.

You get one internet point for needlessly being a prick, congratulations !

You get one internet point for needlessly necroing a year old thread to insult someone that probably doesn’t use the forum anymore, congratulations !
