My offline characters who are patriarchs/matriarchs cant see terror zones. They arent exported from D2:LOD.

What do you mean by “offline characters can’t see terrror zones”?
I mean that the minimap doesnt show the terror zones and neither does the chat.
On all difficulties or just hell?
It happens on all difficulties
Terror zones are activated by killing Baal. Kill him once more and re-check.
I’ve tried to kill Baal once again and the game still doesnt show me the terror zones. i tried to re-install the game to check if some file was not ok, but doesnt change anything.
This happened to some of my single player chars that I transferred from D2 to D2r as well. What I did was install hero editor for D2, loaded the char and made it say the Baal quest for each difficulty wasn’t complete, and then beat him again in D2r. The rest of the quests were always complete, just needed to kill Baal on each difficulty. Also, D2R chars can’t be loaded into the old hero editor software either, so youll need to use the original files and replace your current d2r save files.
At the same time though; you could use this as an opportunity for a fresh start. Definitely sucks losing all the progress, hurt to let go of infinity and enigma, I still haven’t replaced them, but it’s kinda fun again in its own way. Using “trash” runewords and uniques, random rare and magic items again. Drops that are usually considered useless on a geared char become exciting again. I personally took the time to transfer over my chars and fix TZs for ones that were broken, but in the end deleted them all and started fresh.
