I get 1 day to play games a week, got to play for a solid 8 hours today before server maintenance.
This is honestly awful, you guys need to get your crap together, also if I can’t play, I would like a refund, but apparently since I played for a while I’m not allowed a refund for a game I am unable to play.
Once again proving Blizzard needs to just fail.
If you had any integrity as a company you would offer refunds to people who are unable to play the game and would like one.
They won’t refund anything. How else are they going to pay for lawyers to bail them out of legal issues they were too busy creating rather than functioning infrastructure?
Just wait for New World to come out this week. If it’s one thing Amazon does right, it’s servers for spikes in volumes.
So, just to make sure I’m understanding you correctly… you’re upset because you got to play for 8 hours and they did maintenance for a couple hours to help improve/stabilize the game?
Alright. You got 8 hours in on this game. That’s a lot. If you wanna game, play another one. You don’t have to exclusively play one.
Yes they do offer refunds if you qualify.

The first step is an automated system that will quickly grant a refund to eligible accounts. Eligibility is determined by date of purchase, “consuming” the content, and previous refunds. Funds are returned usually in 5-10 days depending on your bank’s policy. If you used Bnet balance it will be refunded to Bnet balance.
If your refund is auto denied by the computer, there is a link on the reply to appeal to a GM to have them review the request. That will take longer, but gets human eyes on the situation.
In this case though they will probably deny it given you were able to “consume” game content. The game works for you (you don;t have it crash when you hit the Play button). You are inconvenienced by Maint which is temporary.
You can always ask though. Just don’t be surprised if they tell you that playing for 8 hours invalidates the refund ability.
Edit-
If you have to make an account to advertise it in multiple posts here it can’t be that good. That is actually negative points in my book. This is not an MMO game and the folks who play here are not really your target audience. It is just kind of weird.
Go post that to the WoW forums while you’re on a roll lol.
I posted there regularly while I was subbed. Same with some FFXIV boards.
I have to admit that I’m missing whatever message you’re trying to make with this but I’m assuming it’s just a “people that play WoW don’t play anything else cuz no life lol,” and that’s just silly.
Edit: no, I see what you’re saying now. My bad. I’m operating off of 3 hours of sleep for the past two days.
There are so many games out there, yo. Like we can play so many things.
lol, I didn’t mean it in a derrogatory way. I know quite a few people that play a game and act like it’s a mortal sin to touch anything else.
Or they could just deliver what we paid for. Who even are you?
It’s hard to justify continuing to support this company. I pre-ordered, paid my $40, and it is a coin flip as to whether or not I will be able to play the game. I work full time, have a wife, two kids, two dogs, and I rarely get time to play a game. I work 12-hours/day and I found 20-minutes where I wanted to do a couple of Mephisto runs in Diablo 2, and the server is down. I won’t get a chance to play the game again for another couple of days, and when that happens, server could be down, I may need to wait in a que, etc, its tiresome. They need to update their servers for this game, status quo doesn’t work.
You can tell your bank to charge it back. Only downside to that is if you do, blizzard locks ur bnet account til the debt is settled.
