Is griffon’s eye mandatory for a nova sorceress to be effective in high player count or i can make a sorceress with Infinity which is viable?

Just stick to cold until you get all the right gear for it. Playing a half geared ES sorc is not going to be a good time. Make sure you have the following:
2 or 3 skill 10 fcr amulet (light or 2 sorc crafted)
2x Stone of Jordans
Griffons
Infinity
Magefist
Arachnid Mesh belt
Vipermagi
Call to arms on swap with lidless or CTA war staff with plus 3 ES
Torch
Anni
Plain or Life Grand Charms
40 points in ES for 95% ES (you could get away with 93% as a temp) Maxed Telekenesis, Maxed Nova, Maxed Static, Maxed Lightning Mastery.
Make sure your merc has:
Chains of Honor (Eth Lacquered plate is the best)
Cure (Eth Corona is the best)
Insight (I dont give a crap what you put your insight base in, just make sure its an elite base and it’s eth. Higher Meditation = Better)
Some people go for Treks with 70% poison resist, I go for all Mana all the time. No points in strength or vit.
Be sure to put your light facets in your gear. Another option is Sol rune if you dont want the killing speed.
Ok then you can play Nova, Avoid Souls, Slaughter everything else even in P8.

I wish Orb Sorc could do P8! Nova sorc is bananas being able to hit 105% fcr breakpoint and rock ES build with dual sojs. So nice
Ummm… been playing lightening sorc from the get go - only at Clvl55 0r maybe 60 at most

Vipermagi - I am guilty, prior that was Stealth, and was still rolling well.

I do have 20 hard pints in Nova and Static, but, added those points as I played through…
I have 1 hard point in Telekenesis, and maybe 2-3 into Light Mastery…

My experience… Play through up to around lvl 30 was… interesting (Charged Bold/Static)… once she some decent points into Nova I used my Akar’s respec to to thow all points that direction.

What you listed was end game… not a play through situation.
For example, I have just run into a high density lightening immune’s in nightmare, and find the SpiritWolves granted by CresentMoon an amazing work-through.
Oh, just swapped my PeasantCrown for a RockStopper… Oh Boy! End game stuff going on here.

Yes correct what i said was end game gear, because nova is for end game. I don’t think its worth playing until you are at end game.

Once I could put points in Nova I just went for it… most OP way to go, no idea, only my 2nd Sorc build, and, tbh the first wasn’t really a Sorc, since she rocked, and still rocks a bow… Enchantress I guess… but, I hate the look of Demon Machine (which I have), so, still rocking Kuko.
