Been getting a weird bug lately on Xbox where sometimes (not always), I’m unable to join a friend’s game. The option to “Join Game” on their gamertag is completely greyed out, and from their perspective the option to invite me to a game is also not visible/working. I’ve tried disconnecting/reconnecting from the server but that doesn’t seem to do anything. The only fix I’ve found is for my friend to leave the game they’re currently in and then one of us has to make a new game and invite the other.
This can be a pretty big issue. For example, when attempting a solo Uber run and dying, it can be impossible to get anyone to join and help. In these cases, you risk straight up losing your keys/torch (which actually happened to my friend earlier today). Just want to make sure the devs are aware that this is an issue and plan to address it at some point in the future.

Then you should move this thread to the Console Bug Report Forum.
Moving Threads
- Click the pencil icon next to the title of your thread.
- Click the “Category” field to bring up a list of Forums.
- Find the proper Forum and select it.
- Save your edit.
This will move your thread to the selected Forum, including all replies.
This happened to me right after I created Uber Tristam. Basically used an organ set, and was planning on switching gear between another character to tackle them, but that character was unable to join the game. Absolutely ridiculous to not be able to join a friend who I am currently partied with. As said above, the “join in game” option is completely greyed out to where you can join it. On top of that, the server went down about 15 minutes after opening the portal so that was cool. Basically over D2R as they clearly do not have the bugs fixed/addressed.
LOL, and where did that pop up on my game Home Screen or in game at any point in time prior to me beginning my planned Uber run this morning? The only notice I received was a pop up in the bottom left of the screen saying “the realm will close in 15 minutes”
Do you suppose I am supposed to follow the Blizzard support twitter and review it every time I log in?

This is a huge issue that has been around since launch and its really annoying!
Having this same issue every time there’s a Diablo clone walk I try making a game tried private and password protected but the option for them to join my game or the option for me to invite them to my game is always greyed out for some reason.
This has not been fixed and is VERY annoying. DClone spawned in my wife’s game but she needs help beating him. I cannot join her game. Option is greyed out. 
Still not fix!! Same thing as everyone I cannot join my friend’s game to beat DClone…
