i understand blizzard didnt want to do like a ‘‘list of upcoming terrorzones’’ because people would just not play and just intentionally go offline and wait for a good terrorzone to come on, they want it to be random, to keep people online and keep people waiting around to keep the playerbase up, which i understand
however, in my current situation, i want to go to the gym, but i dont want to come back and miss the baal TZ which is what im waiting for, as i missed it yesterday
the last baal TZ was 9am or something yesterday morning, so maybe this would be a good that ‘‘no area can be terrorzoned more than once in a 24hour period’’ that way if there is a TZ you desperately want, you know your minimum waiting time.
in terms of a1-5 this is something i suggested they should do, not neccesarily ffa, but the zones should go in order of acts. so a1- then the next one a2, then a3 and so on, sometimes you can get like 3 tz’s consecutively in the same act and its crappy areas
I’ll occasionally log in to check on something before I start work and have noticed several times Chaos and/or WSK+Throne are Terrorized, but I can’t play b/c work, and it’s usually 6am my time. Meanwhile when I can play…Den of Evil baby!
I know it’s random and that it’s me remembering a few instances and confirmation bias and all that, but it’s just another data point that the current system feels bad.
i can think of quite a few other TZ that are MUCH MORE EFFICIENT than … chaos. there’s what? 5-9 packs in chaos or something? max? that’s a fast run imo.
something like worldstone, tal rasha, halls of pain, jail / barracks.
the TZ with 20-40 packs are what’s best… not… chaos. ROFL.
None of them had more xp gain per hour than cs as group in p8. At least not at 98.
Tombs came close but suck for magic damage classes. Wsk is worse than Throne and both have the issue with long ways and guest monsters that might be risky and not rewarding.
Especially 97+ you want to focus on high xp uniques. Some even argue that star cs is better than entrance
i thought it was all about fast killing special packs. they are worth more xp.
unravellers in halls of pain are worth about 20k each, i haven’t found anything that comes close to that and with 5-7 of them in a pack, that 100-140k per pack. i don’t see anything beating that yet.
but ya i would argue all day that CS isn’t as good just based on the amount of packs. i can keep killing in other areas rather than making new games. that time spent is valuable. larger areas = more xp.
Yeah and you would also run them with a group as nec/hdin but I couldn’t get better results with tombs than cs. You still got downtime between tombs and dead ends
i play solo most of the time. 5p solo… and if someone is playing a hdin, i probably won’t invite them to my party. or kindly ask them why they are playing the most boring build in the game and see if i can get them to switch. (i’ve actually done this)
my friend actually like playing FoH more and was pleased to know of the build.
FoH is as boring and worse than hdin and every other pala build is even worse than those 2. So if you want to have any kind of PvP paladin, hdin is the way.
And believe me when I say I did enough grinding as FoH that I can compare both builds.
Sorc is still the best class out there… can’t tell you how much I miss TK.
