Upon activating the stones, NO Red Portal to Tristram appears for me.
How am I to rescue Deckard Cain without this portal?
This has to be a glitch for sure!!!
worst case scenario, you can skip cain. he isn’t a requirement for any quest and after act 1 he identifies each item in your inventory for 100g e
you could also make a new game

He will def reappear in ACT 2 town, just wanted to have all quest complete w/ my HC character.

Someone mentioned earlier that saving & exiting fixed the portal issue for them.

People farming COW TOWN already, so they shut it down 
something a lot of players may not know, SOMETIMES if you open a portal inside of the stones for other players to come thru before you open trist portal it will cancel it out, so always make you sure open trist portal before opening town portal or open it outside of the stones.
