Thankfully I was able to get my refund within 30 minutes of me sending in the ticket so apparently some few decent people remain and understand that Blizzard deserves no finacial support for such ruthless and heartless actions towards women

Walkouts do nothing for non-unionized businesses. Support it all you want, but in the end, unless those associates involved in the walkout have a good savings, this is only going to hurt the associate, not the business. (Indeed it does send a powerful message that the associates are willing to fight back, but you can only go so long without a pay check. Find another job or fight to change the culture from within while maintaining your job, it’s the only way)

We’re on a demon hunt for the people that made Activision Blizzard the way they are now, not out to destroy the company itself as there are people within that work their butts off every day to make an honest living that are affected by the inner circles within ActiBlizz that destroyed our trust in the company.
So before you up and decide not to buy Diablo 2 Resurrected, or cancel your WoW sub, think about those who you’re actually affecting in the end - the people who didn’t commit the crimes that ActiBlizz is being sued for. The people that did commit the crime quite literally do not care about you or your actions as they have forfeit their work ethics for a few minutes of shameful atrocities a day to get their rocks off. You might think you’re being righteous in your attempt to condemn the company as a whole but it’s not all clear cut and definitely not as black and white as you’re making it out to be.

I never understood this approach. You don’t know any of these people, do really care THAT much that you would stop playing the games? Like you feel dirty playing the games?
I’m going to be totally honest and maybe I’m a terrible person for this, but if Bobby Kotick went on a killing spree tomorrow I wouldn’t really give a sht as far as playing the games goes.
So your argument is doing either everything or doing nothing? That is a great mindset for just sitting down and never reacting to anything.
It is completely fine to take consequences, you do not need to be consistent nor can you in your entire existence on planet earth. We should strife to be, but we should not be disencouraged to do first steps.
It’s sad that people jump the gun on these types of issues. There are plenty of good folks at Blizzard that will be affected if everyone or even a portion of everyone boycott.
Seek out the perpetrators and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.
Don’t let a few bad apples be a reason to torch the entire orchard.
I’m not much for boycotting things but I the latest moves by Blizz even get me riled up. By hireing a law firm that is known for ‘union busting’ they are sending a clear signal that they don’t care what the employee’s think or care about.
For my side I’ll just vote to replace the CEO the next time there is a shareholders vote. I was impressed that the shareholders were able to replace a few board members on Exon the last vote and I’m all for that type of thing in Blizz.
Don’t get your refund, buy ATVI and vote for board members that will support the employee’s and will not discriminate…Oh ya and will care about making good games again…

i wont be refunding d2:R, but i most certainly wont be buying another copy now, and this will be the last game i ever buy from blizzard unless there is a serious reckoning.
I’m getting this game to support Vicarious Visions, not Blizzard proper. Blizzard hasn’t made a good game in over 10 years, Vicarious Visions made the THPS remake which was great. That’s basically how I’m weighing my decision to get this.
I don’t mind if people want to boycott over the numerous fumbles as of late, but not buying this game in particular seems like punishing Vicarious Visions for something they didn’t do. If you want your boycotting to matter, don’t buy anything made in-house at Blizzard.
I mean, if you want to boycott this game for that reason, I’m not going to argue about it, I just have a different rationale.
I agree with what people here are saying, that everything we own and consume is pretty much based off the exploitation of children, animals, slave labor, etc… and that’s why I hate stupid virtue signal posts like this one, because that’s all this is. Most people do, in fact, know this, they just won’t actually do something about it that would inconvenience them, like switch to more expensive products that don’t exploit children, use animal testing, etc. Too inconvenient. So every time they do something like cancel a preorder (they probably would have canceled anyway) they need to post all over the internet about how it’s because they’re so “righteous” and “noble,” and “virtuous.” Shame on Blizzard and aren’t I a good little citizen for canceling my video game.

ppl should stop the negative attitude against Blizzard they are not the only company with this kinda news its happening all over the world in big and small companys and its not only game companys its sadly every where .we will see what happens later but i think we should not judge anyone. we dont have all the facts and there are just a few rotten appels in the basket so dont punish the hard working good employes of the company by boycotting games
