Between the three types, which do you feel is best with a Pally? Prayer seems good, but it’s so slow. Might also seems good, but sometimes a more defensive move is in order. Then, there’s freeze, with the chance to shatter. What do you think?

It all boils down to what you want or need more of.
If you want health regeneration so you don’t have to constantly heal yourself with potions, go prayer.
If you need more attack rating, go blessed aim.
If you need more physical damage, go might.
If you need more defense, go defiance.
If you want crowd control, go holy freeze.
If you don’t really need anything from him, but want him to take out crowds of monsters more quickly, try thorns.
With a Blizzard Sorc, I typically go prayer with insight.

If using insight, it’s really beneficial to go prayer as it double dips with the meditation aura so you get some truly significant tick healing
Yeah, a high level merc (90+) will go from a sliver of health to full in about 20ish seconds from prayer along with his base health regen.

The answer is always either Holy Freeze (FoHdin, Hammerdin, Javazon, Lightning Sorc) or Might (Zealer, Smiter, Cold Sorc)
