Doom#2835

Sry mate, that’s too low to make a deal

No problem, I understand my offer does not fit your buy low at traderie and sell high on this forum / in game etc. strategy. At least I provide free bumps to you.

Also Sur for your other charm

its funny cauz its true

Of course, it is true and correctly identified.
A big part of my trades is that I follow the in-game prices and try to buy below the price.
My profit then comes from trying to sell at the regular price.

This is my trading model. What is funny about it now, I do not understand.

For example, Azul trades a lot of crafted amulets and buys amethysts below the regular price. This is also a working business model.

edit:
@Doom Thx for your offer an free bumps, but no

The problem is with your trade ethics.

You intentionally low-ball sellers at traderie in the hope that they don’t know the value like you do. You go after higher trade value items like res/mf sc, life/res sc, skill/life gc …

Then you immediately flip the items at traderie and come here as a seller and try to pretend certain value for those items (in the hope that you do 2-3x profit) even though sometimes the real value is not even close to your pretended value. Honestly your pricing is laughable in both places.

Now let’s get serious.
I trade a lot on Traderie, which includes buying far below value, of course. But I also bid on items, as many do.
Of course, I want to trade at a profit, and the competition is fierce. Almost with every bid there are many co-bidders. I am one of many. For example, the SC 7mf + 11 lightresi I bought for Sur, a little over half the value.
You find that reprehensible? Almost every item is bid on way too cheap to begin with.
But if here, for example, Azul buys 20 perfect amethysts for 1 Ist, that is, at half price, nothing is said?
That is very contradictory.

And I try to sell here at normal price or slightly above. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Supply and demand. My offers are not utopian.
You criticize me because I try to make a profit?
Then stay fair to everyone in the aggregate.

20pa for 1 ist? where? Who? I take them all

I am not sure why you always bring Azul as an example. He has a fair rate of Ist for 12 pa. There might be buyers out there who pay Ist for 10 pa, but I don’t care since I can offload all my pa, ral, jewel to him in one big trade for a fair price.

I bought 22 for Ist yesterday. Also got 12 for Pul a couple of days ago.
All ingame.

I listed Azul as an example because he also engaged in your accusation and also stated that he found it very funny.
For example, Azul was looking for 20 amethysts for the price of 1 Ist here on the forum on 06/25. Also at that time this was clearly too high.
But I stress at this point I find this perfectly fine and not at all reprehensible.

It would be nice strange if you were only allowed to trade at the regular price.

@Doom Therefore a counter question to you. Have you never knowingly purchased an item for significantly less than its value in trade?

I did hundreds of trades on multiple platforms and I am sure there were a few good trades on my side, but next to that I also had very bad trades so it’s kind of even imo.
For me reputation always comes first.

06/25… three month ago…no comment, but as i can remember i made the same price as arkitz (maybe even better) that is stupid , i am outta here  gl with the sale

You skillfully dodged the question and didn’t answer it at all.
I have also made hundreds of trades on various platforms. Good and bad. Here in the forum you also get only a fraction of me.

You criticized me, however, that I deliberately bid on offers significantly below the value.

Hence my counter-question, whether you yourself have never knowingly traded an item significantly below the value.
If you have, then it is of no use to the person if you have made good trades for them with other trading partners. Then it is hypocritical double standards. It’s all about the principle.

And as you can see, there are others here who are trading very profitably, such as Zaman.

well, I have been criticized for having the good luck of dropping several Griffon’s and then asking (a realistic in my opinion) price to sell …

seems like we like to tech other people morals
