If a Gul Rune is worth 1.5 Ist, and Vex is worth 3 Ist, wouldn’t it just make sense to cube 2 Gul’s into a Vex if you have them? Assuming of course you don’t need a Gul for some runeword, or that you have extras.
If anyone wants Gul runes for the going rate, I’ve got a bunch, incidentally, but I’m doubtful…
Yes it does. Or you trade it down, landing you Ist+Mal which should be slightly more than 1.5 Ist (because Mal+Um = Ist). Let’s say that’s 1.6 Ist. Does it worth your time for this 0.1 Ist, given how fast Vex trades? I don’t know
If you have a bulk to get rid of, giving a discount then it’ll go fast, like 7 Gul for Lo
Or, the masters would keep them until Blizzard releases a new OP runeword that uses Gul, then sell at 2 Ist each 
I have cube up many Guls. And traded many Vex for 2 Guls.
Can blizzard remove the gem in the recipe. It is a waste of time.
Probably not a bad idea to leave it in place to prevent accidental cubing

Terrible ideas, now people will have no incentives to trade 2 Bers for my Jah, since they can cube it themselves.
