really relative to each other, and the market fluctuates. also people urgently need something will offer higher, but if you don’t meet them immediately the deal is gone

I was wondering why ist is the reference always? Is it because Ist is one of the most used runes for runeword???
I didn’t fully get why some people want 40 ists by trading Jah for example.

Zhongli I love your value for Ohm. I can trade an Ohm for 5 ists in seconds but can’t buy one for less than 5 ist mal hehe.

if we really dig into it, Ist by itself is useful (+MF) so the demand is very high; also it can be farmed through countess so the supply is plenty too
the same can be said for Um (+all res), but you can do 30 Ist for Ber in a trade window safely, and you can’t really do 100 Um for Ber; so Ist seems reasonable to be the $1 bill
people often need Ist to buy pgems and other stuff (e.g. Spirit pack) in large bulk, to craft or reroll
edit: oh, I should also say that people rarely trade Jah for 40 Ist, it is just relative value. usually Jah = Ber + Lo, or Ber = 3x Lo, etc

20 years ago soj used to be the $1 bill lol. And i remember starting of d2r the $1 bill seems to be pul rune.

If i am 20 years younger instead and playing d2r it will be just like the days where i camp more than 18 hrs a day in trade channel lobby to do trading. Now i dont even have the energy to sit in game for more than 1 hour lol.

Couple of adjustments based on my own trades / what I see on this forum.
1 green = 1 yellow
10-12 P amethysts = Ist
20-25 P rubies = Ist
20 P skulls = Ist
Token of Absolution = Ist
65x junk jewels = Ist
Ohm being 5.5 Ists is very good too. I can trade Ohm for 5 ists all day but I gotta add to get an Ohm.
Made the changes and dropped the chipped gems.
You can get a token for gul now.
I also think P skulls are underpriced. P skulls are very difficult to get, especially 20 for an ist. I come across 10 Pammy sooner than I come across 20 pskulls.
