Can anyone link the info on where they started the refund process? I’ve been digging through their (Nintendo Online) platform and there’s nothing here that takes you in that direction. Thank you.
you have to go through nintendo customer service. they have a chatbox, a text msg, phone, and email route. but i can confirm that nintendo is currently processing D2R refunds.

I bought this POS yesterday not having kept up to date on the state of the game since the release. This morning I requested a refund from Nintendo via live chat and I just got my refund.
Could I have waited for Blizzard to fix the console servers? Sure. But we need to send a message to Blizzard via Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft that this garbage is not acceptable. The game is literally unplayable on consoles and should be pulled from the stores immediately.

We did it peeps! I used Nintendo customer services “chat function”, requested the refund by stating “This game is unplayable and never should have been released on your platform until Blizzard had it’s server issues worked out.” The chat rep made it a point to remind me that their digital content notice states that there are no refunds, but they will look into it. Chat gives you a reference number and gives you a number to call. You’re connected with a supervisor who again tells you that refunds are not issued for digital content, but they will look into it some more. Then after a few collecting some info from you they will issue a “One-time refund due to the severity of the situation.”

I’m not advocating for refunds, cause eventually this will be worked out but this definitely isn’t the D2 experience and I apologize to anyone new to D2 thinking this would be.
People saying “just play offline” either are new to D2 or lost their past cause online is a critical feature of D2 and in no way should be as broken as it currently is.
Vicarious Visions did a good job recreating a offline game for sure.
But whatever part of blizzard that is supposed to deal with online is definitely reaking of lazy. Some of the things I’m reading from the devs are seriously like wtf? These guys either only played offline or beat normal online and stopped.
In no way should any of the player base play behaviors be surprising. There are guides literally going step by step how to do a Baal run.

i am quitting D2 for WoW because i was peer pressured into it and i want to leave something for the D2 community before i do…
Background info:
i have lvled around 15ish characters to lvl 92-94 and i always telebaal unless my friend is doing it. even lvling the 1st character to 92 is a pain in the butt so here is a guide to not piss off the host and have a better chance in a successful baal run. it also feels good when you have people adding u to their flist because they want to join your godly baals again. give yourself a pat on your back.
these are not in order of importance, but stick to all these rules and guide and you will usually have a successful baal run.

The teleporter is the host, he is the rule. Respect and do what he says. Piss him off, he will give you death tps or ditch you from the run.

Pay attention to the monster’s immunities, do not use fire against Lister and his buddies. Do something productive such as using Telekenesis or Mindblast

Don’t challenge someone to a duel in a baal run. If they want to duel or pk, they can crash pubs or private duels with friends. We are here to baal run, not this pk trash.

Trading is allowed, but not to the max. Massive spamming is utterly annoying, i usually ditch these jerks.

If you die too easily due to lack of resists or life, stay back. i have seen so many idiots who jump into a pack of souls with -50 lightning resists.

If you are a lightning/cold sorc or hammerdin, please kill. dont idle there with your leech sticks, especially when the run is going bad.

Leechers: drops are for the killers/teleporter. Don’t embarass yourself by jumping in and dying for some item.

If you are not in for baaling, leave the game for someone else that needs that baal running experience. Go do your key/mf runs or quests somewhere else. They are the same as 1 players. Do not embarrass yourself by dying, especially when no one would help you. Exception: your friend can hunt nith while you telebaal.

I STRESS this, DO NOT CREATE THE NEXT NEXT GAME if you didnt make it to the next one. the host will either skip you or create a new run. these piss hosts a lot. Instead, try to give the host a msg and if they are nice, they will tell u when they are ready for the next run.

Don’t ask to kill baal because you want to leech drops or get the quest done, unless the host is at a extremely high level and need’s Baal xp. and no, there is no extra difficulty after hell mode.

Don’t complain how hard it is to level, especially when you are in the low 80s. We all know its hard. Exception: you are the teleporter/host because they are giving these baal runs.

Leech sticks arent really that useful unless you are 93ish and up. Leech stick means every 100 games, you gain an extra 5 games. thats not really a lot until you hit to the mid to high 90s. By all means, use it if you can without dying. i used it for my teleporting weapon before…

Dont brag or showoff. No one likes it. Brag more, host you own baals.

Do not make baal runs if you KNOW you wont teleport or do not have a friend to do it. Chances are, no one else will do it. You are just adding to more dead baal games and wasting people’s time.

If you are a teleporter, but not really a killer, ditch groups that can not kill as fast as you would have hoped. Wasting everybody’s time.

If you can solo 8 player baals, DO IT, its a lot faster. BUT for the D2 community, please host it.

Don’t talk about stupid stuff such as sex. We do not want to hear how big your **** is (we all can make up something and no one would ever know). If you want to have a conversation to pass the time, a friend within the baal run is good. To strangers, talk about something sensible.

Offer to help get the teleporter’s body back if he dies while teleporting, ESPECIALLY when he is in the high 80s and upwards. Don’t be a jerk, teamwork > all monsters.

Leave the Juvies to the tanks and teleporters, don’t hog it all up. I seen leechers popping with 12 juvies out of their belt.

do not attract more minions in the throne. It slows down the run.

If you are the teleporter, don’t just tp right at the entrance, instead teleport to baal in 2-3 seconds and find a safe spot.

Don’t bother people about their gear, there are d2 sites and guides that can help you. Also, don’t diss set characters such as ik barbs. They are cool and I bet they do more work than stupid lecher barbs with leech sticks.

Do not say tp tp tp tp or pp pp pp pp. DON’T SPAM. It annoys the teleporter. Expect a death tp if you do it too often or catch him at a bad time.

Do not press party and unparty a bajillion times. I actually died once because someone unpartied at the wrong time.

Try not to talk to the teleporter, especially when they are in the middle of finding the throne.

FORM a party before the teleporter gets to the throne and tps you newbs.

Do not say I lvled! Yay! Unless its your first time or 90+ish.

Do not diss anything to show ur ignorance such as in gender, sexuality, or race.

Do not be selfish and just form a team of friends in a baal run and kill everything and leave the newbs wondering what is going on.

Don’t ask who is running. Unless this game is the first game or someone stole it, there is usually someone going. Be sensible, no party in a minute = bad baal run.

Sometimes, its just hard to kill lister because your party cant handle him. Start the next run.

Give the teleporter gold if he needs it. Don’t be a selfish pig please.

Read the tp before going in. My friend does nith runs while I telebaal. Don’t blame them because its your fault for not reading.

Don’t go in a tp when the teleporter is half dead while coming out of it unless you are godly and can poon all monsters.

If you are the teleporter and u die a lot one day and u usually dont. STOP take a break, you are bad luck for that day.

Lag? dont teleport and waste your time.

If you need to do something quick, ask someone else to teleport, they’ll usually say yes because u gave them so many godly runs
Tips for certain classes:
Sorcs: do not use fire against fire immunes. just shows how ignorant you are. KILL, you are the massive damagers. Iceblast + glacial spike = safety for all players most of the time.
Necros: Reviving and summoning skellies is GOOD if no one can tank, otherwise they slow down the run. They usually block the view of other monsters, but cant kill them, especially with the randament wave. Use curses if you have them. If you claim you are a PK necro, and dont have curses, i must say, you are a horrible one. 100ish extra magic dmg or AMP for your smiter, barb, druid friends? AMP + CE > baal runs.
Paladins: Conviction is your friend if you have trappers/sorcs. 2 pallies, use two different auras, so you get the best efficiency.
Barbarian: warcries, and offer to GIVE bo to the teleporter even if they dont need it. it makes them feel special and it shows that you are nice. i HATE leech stick barbs who stay in the corner and leaves cuz the runs are bad. tank god damn it.
Assassins: try not to have a shadow master up and rarely use mindblast. they slow down the runs by the conversion, even if its a few seconds. after doing 200 baal runs, a few seconds is a lot of time… ONLY USE them during lister + minions AND if you guys are getting slaughtered by the previous waves.
Zons: lightniing javazons are big killers too. KILL. poison and bowazons are usually eh, be productive. buy a amp/lower resist wand and just help them out.
Druids: oak is everybody’s friend. If you have a grizzly bear, use it, more tank and more damage.
BTW, all classes can teleport to the throne, some more expensive than others. DO NOT BUG the sorcs just because they have access to the skill teleport.
Barb: dual wizpikes + spidersash or some 5 fcr from somewhere else = 105 fcr. you teleport at 8 frames and have plenty of mana. no dex? hel the wizpikes.
Zon: these are a little bit tricky and expensive. 99 fcr + enigma is a MUST and minion stack is too. you will get into d/a/e lock a lot. dont bother with this unless you are desperate like me.
Teleporter: From Worldstone Lvl2 to Lvl3, teleport counter clockwise. Lvl 3 to Throne? I don’t know, I usually find it due to instinct.
You are not obligated to follow these rules, but please don’t be a jerk.

Do a quick search and find your own guide. They are everywhere. So when blizzard issues a post about not knowing player behavior. Laugh out loud cause that’s about as bad as them asking their fan base if we have phones.
We do, and we live in 2021. Blizzard on the other hand is still still stuck in the turn of the millennium. I think that should be what is constantly reminded to them.

Was reading another thread they got their refunds through Nintendo, with some jumps and obstacles but they got it
I 100% just got a refund from Nintendo. 1-855-349-9517 they were super helpful and pretty understanding.
It was a 9 minute phone call. I got my refund from Nintendo.
