Makes sense. The only way to counter Hammerdins and Light Sorcs, without nerfing them, is to lift everyone else up to that level. Is that really bad? No. Not at all.
Here’s a thread that links to it. I’d honestly treat it with a full bag of salt, rather than a simple grain, as there is contradictory information that is being shared.
I like it. It now opens up more build diversity which most wanted. Plus it’s balanced with a weakness. I dont understand why some people have a problem with it. It’s either that or everyone still plays hammerdins or lightning damge based character +infinity. What exactly is wrong with variety of choices for endgame now? And not being confined to just certain zones for certain characters unless you are a light damage based or hammerdin.
This patch seems like a joke to me, really thought that with ALL THE GOOD IDEAS that i have seen published about the TZ blizzard i would draw some positive conclusion and improve them, and in the end the only thing they do is…take this! …a charm for break immunities…totally disappointed that after months of work before 2.5 patch the only thing they think for do is a zone that increases monsters level each “x” amount of time (a simple and easy modification that i doubt they have thought much of and needed much effort) and after other weeks… take this, a charm for break immunities… I repeat totally disappointed, everything they have read in the forums about huge ideas are in the trash.
I’ve seen some terrible ideas posted here. These new charms are actually not bad and quite elegant.
The only people who could honestly complain about it are Hammerdin botters.
