New patch (switch)

Had to download and install a new patch on the switch this morning. Added a new feature to the battlenet sign in, the dreaded queues are here on switch! >.< started at 59 in queue, 35 mins later and I’m now at 29… progress, I GUESS!?

It’s almost as if you have to strategically plan your play time now.

“Ok, my lunch break is at noon. The queue will be a mile long at that point. So…I have to quickly log in at 11, then jump back into work, so I will be able to play an hour later.”

For a 20 year old game.

Give me a break.

I don’t get it. On Xbox so far 2 nights ago was first time I got Que message and I was 2 and went right in. Last night I also got right in with no Que message. This is common for me. I do play at 9pm at night so I don’t know is that just a less busy time or I’m just lucky? I do play on Xbox One. My biggest problem is loading time on the One. I can deal with it but it does suck. Making a new game takes about 1 minute of loading screen and waypoints and TP take a bit at times.

You guys on switch can no longer say it’s unplayable

Welcome back to the greatness we all said was coming soon and here it is.

To those who actually refunded the game…well whoops lol.

Like before everyone, they listen, they work quickly and I think suggestions and feedback should de-escalate a bit.

It’s just polite.

PS. there are petitions for missing features where people are keeping things sort of in control.

Super frustrating as I get limited time to play; 4 of the past 5 times I have been unable to login. Was excited to play a childhood favorite on modern console, but looks like ill be moving on

I will say, it’s nice to not have to sit there and manually try to connect every 30 seconds. Now I can just start it up and go do something else until I’m in!

Convenient for me, but I can still see the side of others who don’t have that kind of time to wait. Hopefully this is only a short-lived and temporary measure.

I agree.

If something good happens it’s better to encourage that behavior than metaphorically hitting them with a stick for making mistakes.

I’m not even a Switch user and this is good news to me. Get in there get those lootz!

Mornings here are evenings In Asia… the online item stores need inventory… that’s why we can’t play during the day

Wouldn’t it be interesting to know how much money they make?

It’s too bad there were extremely intelligent people who destroyed the D3 Auction House.

It was a master class in micro economics. Not sure an A.I. system could have destroyed it more efficiently.

Also on Switch here, qued at 178 20 mins ago; went and did some housework and came back: still at 178.

There must be a rush on because the gates are open.

People have been waiting quite some time to get in.

Back in thr original LOD I was good friends with a Chinese item farmer… they don’t make much at all… not sure on the exact numbers but pennies on the dollar. The girl I knew worked insane hours for several days then played in her down time for extra money. So basically when they get done making our iphones and tvs they bot farm lol

It’s sad that they have a culture of “hustle” for thousands of years as traders and merchants that is being abused more and more.

Some of the largest sailing ships ever made were from China. They were called Junks.

Wiki those boats it’s pretty cool.

How do you even meet the item farmer in game to collect your bought item? On console in current state that would be next to impossible. Haha.

Anyone else notice after installing the new patch, you cant see where people on you friends list are at if there in other games? Doesn’t really matter I suppose but sometimes I get an invite from someone who I don’t have chat with on battlement app and I have no idea what they’re up to.
