it doesn’t focus on items. it focuses on the overall effect.

Sounds like your real complaint is that they added mana pots to the shop, making it so Sorcs didn’t have to worry about mana regen as much.
Not sure if you’re being sarcastic but I would rather see many of the old items be reworked instead of adding new items to the loot pool table. New runewords are fine because they don’t compete with drop rates per say.

Be careful what you wish for, many of you kids wanted WSG back and now we got auto WSG on steroids.
Frankly they need to remove sunder charms, and make immunes unbreakable to force casters to either skip packs, or go dual element.
Add in some more magic immunes to nerf magic damage a bit, then slightly buff bone necro and call it a day.
Sad part is TZ’s would have actually been good with unbreakable immunes.
And before people go off about Physical immunes, the only ones that are remotely an issue are the ones that are also poison immune. Cause if you’ve never done it, poison SC’s can put in some real work in an environment where they are the only option.
they may be not an issuse, but I for instance find a lot more use of a sunder charm on my throw barb than on my nova sorc. It’s only 10% DR loss (no big deal when you’re at 0), and it’s easy to further reduce enemy resistance with Grim Ward and affordable items (Lacerator, Reaper’s Toll). On the nova sorc tho, it’s sacrificing at least extra 7-9 squares for resistance charms, and resistance reducing gear is much harder to come by (unless I want to use a Crescent Moon, which is sacrificing a lot, unlike on my throw barb).
Working on a SC Throw Barb myself right now, after the HC one I did earlier. TBH probably going with a dual eth lacerator + wisdom + razortail setup. Dunno yet if I want to rock a sunder or not.
Still need to farm a better Wisdom base, but have the rest. I’ll reserve opinion on it until I get to try it out myself.
Don’t have any eth shrikes atm sadly, just the two lacerators, and one Demon’s Arch to play with. Have a pair of non eth for every thrower other than Garg Bite to test out though.
With a little more play on it, yeah dual Lacerators is a pain, swapped to Lacerator + the demon arch, swapped out the wisdom to an Arreats I plan to Cham to make up for the rather low +skills on the build.
Probably going to just run an insight merc for easy of use with enigma, dual hoto on swap to TP, hork, and buff BO and try to rull up a 10% FCR DL ring to hit 86% fcr for the slightly faster tele at some point. Not really that worked about 105 tbh, rate have the hotos and a bit of extra gold find for trav.
Still need a couple levels for BB to try that out heh.
Another thing I’ve honestly considered is pairing the build with a giant skull to use the knockback to prevent some of the fleeing from Lacerator.
08 valk would be nice, or other items to open up some classes breakpoints easier, which in turn would make more items more valid, like 2/10-15fcr nec ammy is useless on vita pnb necro
barb sacrifices highlords or big AR/DR to go 63fcr etc
